July Favourties

La Roche Posay Dermo- Soothing Deep Cleansing Foam
This cleanser is absolutely amazing. I bought it last month and add it directly to my daily skincare routine. After only a week I definitely noticed a difference. My skin appeared to be much more smoother, clearer and with less acne.

Garnier 24 hours Daily moisturizer
Currently I have super oily skin so I used this moisturizer as a night cream, but this cream is extremely good for oily skin. It mattifies the skin, is non-comedogenic and gives my skin the ideal amount of hydration.

Sleek Contour Kit
This is probably the best contour colour I've ever used. Sometimes I start to use another contour colour, but lastly I always come back to it. It creates a super natural shadow underneath the cheekbones, however, it has to be applied really carefully, because of its high-pigmentation.

Chanel Lipstick Rouge Coco 05 Mademoiselle
I loved to wear my hair in curls this month and felt, because of this, a bit like in the sixties. So I needed a nice bold, but still natural lipstick that can be worn in the office. This chanel lipstick was the solution: elegant, natural, but noticeable. Perfect.

Essence Sun Club Bronzer
I don't really like to use this bronzer as a contour or in general, as a bronzer. However, applied as a blush this product gives you a natural sun kissed look. Perfect for the summer.

Catrice Intensif´eye Wet & Dry Shadow 030 Vanilla Sky Ride
I am not sure whether this product is available in every country, but this is the absolute perfect shimmery highlighting colour for the inner corner of the eye. I absolutely loved to apply it half the way over my lid, to put a brown in my crease and to draw a liquid eyeliner. Your eyes will look so awake and fresh, it is amazing.

Essence stay all day 16h foundation
I wore this foundation the whole month in the office. Because of the air-conditioner, my foundation started to crease much earlier and every spot was much more noticeable because of this baad lightning. So I needed a foundation that is full coverage, long lasting and doesn't cause any more spots. This foundation gave me all these points that I was searching for.

P2 nail polish lovely & Manhattan nail polish 59L
I loved to wear the natural rosy nail polish on my hands during my time in the office and the other colour was also natural, but noticeable on my toenails. By the way, this is the only nail polish where everyone is asking me which one it is.

What are your favourite products for this month?

Wish you a wonderful day!
Lots of love,

Mac Harmony - Swatches + Demo

Hey guys!

Some of you asked if I can show you a swatch of my MAC Harmony and what I think about it.
The product looks like this and costs 22€:

Firstly, you have to know that this powder is a contouring powder. This means that you apply it on certain party of your face in order to define it a little. The following picture give you a guide line. Obviously, you have to blend the powder into your natural skin tone really well.

The colour is really matt and has no shimmer. However it is not completely brown, but it is a more medium brown with a red under tone! Blended in the skin, it really adapts to my skin tone.

MAC's Harmony doesn't look so orange/red on the skin. Nevertheless, it has a slight red under tone! You have to apply this contour powder really softly, if you don't want to see the reddish, however you can't define your cheekbones very strong! So, I am not quite sure, if I really like that.

Here is a before/after picture:

Therefore, I wouldn't recommend applying this powder all over the face, but it's really good for a slightly and nice contoured cheeks!

Dupe!
If the MAC Harmony is too expensive for you, than I can just recommend the Sleek Contour Kit in medium. I made a review of this here. This is really a fantastic and cheap contour powder!

I hope this was helpful for you!

Sleek Contour Kit - Swatches

Hey guys!!

Wow, have you ever had such an enormous headache that you can't think enough except of: "STOP!!"
Well, actually I have it... Any tips against headaches?

Nevertheless, I wanted to share with you my new achievement :D
It is the Sleek Contour Kit in Medium!

And here are my swatches:

The highlighter:

The contour side:

I really love the Contouring side. The colour is high pigmented and blends really well in your skin colour. It doesn't have a red undertone, thus it looks natural, in other words like a normal shadow when you apply under your cheekbones.

However, I don't like the highlighter. It has got just a very sheer shimmer which you can hardly find. Especially when you apply it on your cheeks, the highlighter seems to disappear. It just works, when you apply it as a highlight under your eyebrows like a normal light eyeshadow.

What I really like is that Sleek included an introduction how to apply these two colours on your face. I think this is a really cute idea, especially if you are a beginner in make up.

I can just recommend this product. This contour colour turned out to be my fav one!! This means, I love it more than MAC Harmony ;)
