5 Drugstore Products That You Need to Have

Hey everyone!

How are you?
I hope you are doing well. I am come right from a fantastic jog which I can totally recommend in order to boost your mood. Today I want to tell you my five favourite drugstore products, that you need to have. I tried to pick international makeup brands so that you can purchase these amazing products almost everywhere.

Product № 1

My first recommendation is the Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butter Ultra Vibrant Color by Astor (Link). This is a dupe to the hyped Chubby Sticks by Clinique. They cost instead of 20€ only 6,50€. All colour are very rich and long lasting while still giving the lips moisture and not drying them out.

Product № 2

Next comes the NYX Powder Blush in "Mocha" (Link). I added it to the drugstore section because I don't think that it is an high-end brand even though you can't buy it in the drugstore here in Germany. The shade "Mocha" is a soft mid-rose colour which works especially good on pale to medium-pale skin. It is not that highly pigmented, but this makes the application much easier and makes the look really natural.

Product № 3

My absolute favourite product ever is the Essence I love Extreme Volume Mascara (Link)! I think this is one of the cheapest mascaras that you can get in drugstores. It only costs 2,75€ and is the best mascara I have ever used. It gives amazing voluminous, thigh and long lashes - a total all rounder!

Product № 4

I love the Catrice Camouflage Cream (Link). In Germany, there hardly existed any camouflage that wasn't totally overpriced. Catrice's Camouflage is a great cheap version to the Mac Concealer. It has more coverage than a regular concealer without creasing or making these dry patches around a pimples. Seriously, since I am using this on top of my foundation, everyone thinks that I have super clear skin.

Product № 5

The last product is the Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set (Link). I am sorry for the bad condition, but as you can see, this product is well used. It includes a small brush with whom you can define blond to brown eyebrows. I am not sure whether you can purchase this in every country, however, if you are able to get in anywhere, please give it a try.

These were my 5 drugstore products that you need to have. These are really products that I use on a daily basis, so you can definitely be sure that these products are the best out of my collection. I hope they work as good as they work for me.
Do you know one of these products?

I wish you a wonderful day!

The 3 Most Amazing Electronic Songs

I never thought that I start to develop a love for electronic music.
I am a total beginner in this music branch, so I would be really pleased when you tell me a few other songs. But here we go with my top 3 electronic songs.

Don't Think by The Chemical Brothers
I got to know this music again from a movie called "Black Swan". If you know the movie, this is the song when Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis go into the club and start dancing and take drugs. I think, the chemical brothers are absolutely talented in their music branch. The song has variations in the rhythm, volume and different beats. This is my favourite song of all of them.

Funk (The Bloody Beetroots Remix) by Etienne de Crecy from the movie 99 francs
This song is absolutely crazy. When you don't know the movie, then you definitely ave to watch it. It is about a product designer who takes, like a typical creative person, dugs. And in his drug flow, this music is played and that exactly how it sounds like.

Don't Move by Phantogram
I love the beginning of the song and in general, this song has such creates such a unique atmosphere. I have to admit that this song has its length in the middle of the song, but again I really love this song even though it is my least favourite.

Please tell me if you like my little music favourites, because I love listening to music and thus, I love doing these posts.

All the best,

My Favourite Websites - Perfect for Avoiding to Study

Hello everyone!

How do you do? Well, I am studying, studying and studying. I can't see all my folders, learning scripts and exercises anymore and when I need a little bit of free time in order to interrupt my learning sessions, I find myself browsing the internet. So I thought I might show you my favourite websites, but pay attention, you really easily forget the time when you are checking all these amazing sites. :)

Fitness

Daily Hiit (Link)
The old Bodyrock.tv renamed itself and now is called "Daily Hiit". I check this website daily as I do mostly all their workouts. The whole website is completely different to the old one, so it took a while to get used to the new layout, but that doesn't change the quality of the workouts they are posting. I would even say that they are even more intense and I can definitely see changes on my body.

Zuzka Light (Link)
The co-founder of Bodyrock.tv started her own website with extremely hard, short and amazing workouts. I have to admit, I even like them more than the Bodyrock ones.

Sarah Fit (Link)
I like Sarah because she is totally fit, but still has a healthy weight. I really like her diet advice and food recommendations.

Tone it up (Link)
The two girls are really sympathetic and represent the typical California girls. I check the site recipes, food hauls and motivation, not because of their workouts.

Food

Skinny taste (Link)
This is a site created by a mother who cooks healthy recipes for every occasion from dinner, breakfast, lunch to delicious desserts.

I breathe... I'm hungry... (Link)
This website has the same concept like skinny taste. I have already made some of the recipes and they are really delicious.

Chocolate covered Katie (Link)
Katie gives healthy alternatives for sweet desserts so that you don't have to give up all these desserts.

Dashing Dish (Link)
This is the last, but also least favourite cooking site. I love all her recipes and they look so amazing, but I do not like that you have to be an exclusive member to be able to see everything.

Home Inspirations

Apartment therapy (Link)
This is a really professional site that gives informative advice for decorating and designing your new home, doing DIYs and before/after comparisons.

The inspired room (Link)
This is a wonderful website with lots of inspirational pictures, designs and decoration ideas. I am going to move to my first own flat, so this really helps me finding the style I like.

Live Love DIY (Link)
Normally I am not the DIY person, but I love this website as the design of this whole house is so inspirational and definitely represents my style.

Photography

fotocommunity (Link)
This is for all your photography fans even though this is a German website! This community offers an incredible pool of photography and one can find amazing photos there.

Fun

Law School Fun
And lastly, for anyone who is studying law and wants to throw all the learning stuff out of the window, this is the perfect site for you! This is another site in German, but so incredibly funny!!!

So these were my favourite websites. I know, these are a lot, but I had way to much time browsing through the internet during the last couple of days. I should definitely start learning more intense :) So I hope you are having a great day and you don't have to study that much. Have fun with the websites and tell me what are your favourite websites?

Have a wonderful day! Love,

Favourite Apps: Calorie Counter - ShapeUp Club

In order to become a bit more lean and toned and to get my calorie income under control, I searched for a nice and handy app. After testing DietDiary, which was not really my cup of tea, I found the calorie counter by Shape Up Club. Shape Up Club is a food and exercise diary for Android which helps you to lose weight or to maintain your current weight.

How it works
✓ Personalized weight plan
✓ Set individual weight & nutrition goals
✓ Barcode scanner
✓ Ability to customize everything (such as daily calories & nutritional information)
✓ Track calories, nutrients, fruit & water
✓ Food database with 400 000+ items
✓ Track body measurements (waist, body fat, hips, arms etc.)
✓ Visible progress from charts
✓ Write daily comments
✓ ShapeUp Club is free and without ads
✓ Works without an Internet connection
✓ Complete backup and sync with website, ShapeUpClub.com
✓ Health Graph integration
✓ RunKeeper integration & Withings scale integration
Conclusion
I like this app because it shows you how much you can still eat at the end of the day and it really helped me to lose weight. I also had the experience that when I know that I have to add everything that I eat to this app, I start to eat less just because I am to lazy :) I like the different food choices, the topic with morning and afternoon snack and the fact that it shows you the fat, protein and carbohydrate  values. However, any additional services can only be done with a subscription to the ShapeUp Club which costs money. And let's say 40% of the options of this app have to be payed. Nevertheless, I will continue using it and can recommend it to anyone who still struggles with his daily income or doesn't want to calculate ever single calorie in his head anymore.
Have you ever tried any calorie counter app?
Wish you a wonderful day!
Lots of love,

My Top 5 Wearable Spring Fashion Trends 2013

Hello guys!
How are you?
Even though it is incredibly cold outside and I am currently living in a freezing winter wonderland, the new fashion spring trends are out and I am super excited what we will find in the stores this year. To be honest, there are not that many new trends out there and only a few are really wearable in public. So I thought I will give you a little overview of my top 5 wearable spring fashion trends 2013.

Trend No.1: Short Suits

This fashion trend came up at the end of last summer, however, short suits are still incredible trendy this year. Watch out for bright short suits that give every woman a little boyish, business flair, but still enhances the female features.

Trend No. 2: Cut Out & Sheer

When you are searching for a sexy date dinner dress that is still a tiny bit conservative, the you will love   this season. There are a lot of dresses with sexy cut out around the midriff or beautiful sheer net details that reveal sexy details and still keep enough room for imagination.

Trend No. 3: Bermuda

I can remember seeing this trend years ago but this spring the bermudas are back! These longer shorts are perfect for a casual girl-next-door look during the warmer days.

Trend No. 4: Black & White

Really untypical for a spring fashion trend, but this spring we will see lots of black and white clothes. I love this trend as I am more the classic type and think that these clothes are timeless.

Trend No. 5: Low Heels

I couldn't believe this, but finally the designers discovered low heels again. We talking about ballerinas, sandals and also the lower to medium "high" heels like the picture on the right shows it quite well. I really appreciate this trend because I am quite tall and I think, women in medium heels can still look lovely and even tall girls in high heels appear to be a bit intimidating.

These were my top 5 wearable spring fashion trends for 2013. I didn't include the all-time spring fashion trends in this list as floral dresses, bright colours and classic pieces, but I hope that you like my picks. Tell me what is your favourite spring fashion trend for 2013?

Wish you a wonderful day! Love,

November Favourites!

Hello guys!
So I totally forgot doing my October favourites and before I forget it this month and will be mad at myself for the whole month, I will do my beauty favourites for November today. I hope you are as excited as I am to share with you my favourite products, so let's get started!

(from left to right)
1st row:
Max Factor Soft Resistant Makeup in 1 Light: This is my current everyday foundation and it is just amazing for pale ladies like me. It has a medium to strong coverage which covers up all my pimples and lasts really long, thus, it's perfect for my long university days.
NYX Blush in Mauve: I purchased my first NYX products this month and totally fell in love with them. This blush is the perfect colour between rosy, bronzy and peachy so that it just gives you the perfect subtle colour. I am not sure whether this blush is strong enough for really dark skin tones.
Manhattan Duo Eyeshadow: Unfortunately, this eyeshadow duo isn't available anymore, but it just contains a beautiful light, shimmery, rosy highlighting colour and a slightly darker, red-rose colour for the crease. I loved to use the light colour as a highlight this month.
Maybelline Super 24h Concealer: I have this concealer in the lightest shade and I love it. I use it under my eyes and and it really stays there for the entire day and doesn't go into your wrinkles.
H&M Bronzing Powder: You have to use this bronzer on a light hand otherwise you will look like a huge orange monster, but applied with gentle strokes over your cheekbones it just looks really fresh during this winter time. I use it as a blusher as I think the bronzer might be too orange for a natural sun kissed look.

2nd row:
NYX 10 Colour Eyeshadow Palette in Bubbles and Caviar: Oh my gosh, guys! Why did I discover this product only now?! This is the second part of my NYX Haul and I would call it a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette. Once I saw the palette, I had to have it and now I use it nearly every single day! I can totally recommend buying it!
Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in 020 Date With Ash-ton: Besides the name, the product is really great and cooperates perfectly with my natural hair colour with its ashy undertone. Again, you have to apply this product also with a light hand and slowly build up the colour of your eyebrows. I didn't now that for quiet a while and always ended up having two bold lines over my eyes.
Vichy Dermablend Concealer in 21 Opal: This is by far the best concealer for acne which I have ever used and I doubt that I will ever use another one. You only need a tiny amount of product to cover up any pimple no matter how red it is and it look super natural and not cakey at all.
Manhattan Eyeshadow Base: Another product that I used the wrong way for half a year. You only need a fingertip of product for two eyelids and then your eyeshadow stay on for the entire day even after doing a workout!
Labello Repair & Care: I am not sure whether I have already mentioned this product in any of my post, but I received this as a present and love it. It is not a normal lib balm, no, it consists if a deep-moisturizing formulation and a slightly rosy colour which is just the perfect combination for the frosting winter season.

I also really loved using the Balea Body Lotions with chocolate and chocolate / fig scent and the Essence Winter Edition Hand Protection Balms, especially the Apple Cinnamon Punch one, which I have just purchased recently and can be seen in my latest haul!

So these were my November favourites. I just realised that during the last two months I rediscovered quite a lot of old products respectively finally learned how do use them right. Well, that's another way to save money :) I hope you found a few of these products interesting and see you later! Also, comment below what are your favourite products for this month & are you excited about christmas?

14 Things I Love About Autumn/Fall

Okay, it is official. I love autumn more than anything else and because I am so obsessed with this season I am going to sum up my favourite things during autumn time. These are all things that make me really happy down from the bottom of my heart and make me feel so satisfied and pleased with myself. If you want to know what makes me incredibly happy, then keep on reading.

I love...

... wearing intense eye makeup.
... applying dark nail polish.
... wearing red lipstick.
... wearing boots.
... wearing scarves.
... wearing corduroy trousers.
... coming in the warm when it's cold outside.
... burning (scented) candles.
... wearing warm socks.
... snuggling in a fluffy blanket on the couch with a cup of tea or hot chocolate.
... being officially lazy, because you burn enough calories in the cold ;)
... the colour of the sun & all autumn colours (orange, yellow & red)
... the nostalgic, old-schooled feeling.

So these are my 14 things I love about autumn. I seriously can not say how much I love this season and I really which I would be a summer girl, but I am so not. Especially these colours make me so happy and it feels like I have just found the sense of my life if I can say that in my age.
Tell me what you like about autumn and what is your favourite season?

Wish you a wonderful day!
Lots of love,

September Favourites!

September is my favourite month, however, I was not really able to enjoy this month as much as I have wished to, because I has to write a lot of exams and stress does definitely cut out all my creativity and enjoyments in life. But here I am now, autumn holidays are just a stone's throw away and I have completed all my tasks for today, so I am ready to share my september favourites with you.

My favourites
(from left to right)

Vichy Purete Thermale Foaming Water - This cleansing foam is amazing, because it is designed for sensible skin and so it does deep-cleanse your pores without drying them out. Unfortunately, my 150ml bottle is almost empty after half a year of usage. Thus, the durability is really good.

Nivea pure effect mattyfing moisturizing cream - I have used this cream for 2 months and I am totally impressed of it. It doesn't break me out and mattes my face, so it is the perfect base for my foundation. However, I wouldn't use it as a night cream as it is not moisturizing enough.

Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipstick 030 Ginger & Fred - I received this lipstick as a present and to be honest, firstly I was quiet skeptical about the colour, but it turned out to be a really beautiful fall colour. It is a darker "my lips but just better", slightly cooler-toned red-brown shade which is perfect for this season.

Catrice Absolute Eye Colour 450 Oh, It's Toffeeful! - This is a really natural, barely visible shimmery, toffee eyeshadow that looks natural but still gives you a bit of colour. It suits perfeclty to the lipstick and two the other two items that are following now.

L'oreal Super Liner - This probably turned out be my new holy grail because I can not stop wearing a black winged eyeliner since I have bought this liner. It is deeply black and stays on all day.

Manhatten Eyeliner Chinese Ink - I received this as a birthday present as well and this liner is like a felt tip. The black isn't that intense compared to the L'oreal one, but because of the felt tip it is much more easier to draw a precise line.

Astor Shine Deluxe Lipgloss 010 Fuchsia Sapphire - I did a whole blog post about this lipgloss with swatches and my whole opinion when you click here (Link), but I rediscover this lipgloss always during the autumn time, because it is a visible but still wearable, beautiful lipcolour.

Kiko eyeshadow 167 - This is a high-pigmented matt white eyeshadow that lasts a long time. I use this for nearly every eyemake-up as a highlight in my inner corner and under the brow bone.

Katy Perry Purr Perfume - I bought this perfume in the sale for 16€ otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it, but I am deeply surprised at the scent because it smells absolutely lovely and not cheap. I am really bad in describing scents, so I can only recommend checking it out in your local store even though you are not a fan of Katy Perry.

So these were my september favourites. I am looking forward to a lovely and golden october and try to enjoy the time a bit more as this month has flown by. Enough talking for today.
Wish you a wonderful day & tell me what are your favourite products of this month?

See you then,

Most Worn *Summer* Things TAG!

I was tagged by a lovely friend on twitter with the Most Worn *Summer* Things Tag where you show in certain categories what you liked to wear during this summer. Even though the summer isn't over and it wasn't that summery here where I live, I still really like to do this tag. If you want to know what my most worn things are, then keep on reading!

 The Tag:
1) Most worn nail polish
For elegant or more natural days I always used the P2 nail polish in Lovely whereas my new Essie nail polish in 99 Mint Candy Apple was perfect for a hot and funny summer day.
2) Most worn hair product
The John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Treatment is a wonder. Applied in towel wet hair your hair is so smooth and looks much more shiner and healthier.
3) Most worn bag
I loved to wear my Accessorize cross body bag in this beautiful nude cream colour. It looks trendy and elegant at the same time. HUGE LOVE!
4) Most worn shoes
A year ago I wore these shoes and got terrible blisters, but this year they are incredible comfortable. And because of the wedge, I can walk in these Unisa sandals for hours.
5) Most worn accessories
I haven't worn a lot of jewelry, I was rather on a minimal jewelry trip. So my classic pearl gold earrings were suitable for every outfit.
6) Most worn clothing item
These are my Tailly Weil brown shorts, definitely my most worn clothing item. They are a tiny bit longer then a hot pants and not that tight. Therefore, they are perfect for longer walks, because the most unattractive thing is when a woman pulls down her shorts in her inner thighs.
7) Most worn foundation
I purchased this just a few weeks ago and I am totally loving this. It is the BB Cream by Garnier for acne prone/ oily skin. This foundation is amazing and makes my skin looks just gorgeous. It is light, but at the same time almost full-coverage and it does minimize my pores.
8) Most worn blush and/or bronzer
It is so funny that I used to hate this bronzer and now, that I found the right way to apply it, I love it. The Essence sun club bronzer for lighter skin gives you a natural tan applied on the apples of your cheeks.
9) Most worn lip product
I actually made a review of this here and I still like the Blistex Lip Tone so much. I used this during the whole summer, because it is not too heavy or sticky and still makes your lips look so much better.
10) Most worn mascara
Another probably all time favourite is my new discovered Essence I love extreme volume mascara. This mascara makes my lashes extremely long, voluminous, just everything!
11) Most worn eyeshadow
Seriously, I can not say how much I love this product. This was probably the best purchase ever! The Catrice Intensif' eye Wet & Dry Shadow 030 Vanilla Sky Ride is the best highlighting eyeshadow I have ever used. I love to  wear a beautiful pin up look with this eyeshadow.

So these are my most worn summer things! I hope you like this tag and please comment below what you liked to wear this summer!

Wish you a wonderful day!
Lots of love,

July Non-Beauty Favourites

Because I love to do my monthly beauty favourities, I decided to start a new monthly favourite which consists of all non-beauty related things that I love. That can contain TV-shows, magazines, films, music, food, books, games, other hobbies, etc. If you want to know what I'm loving for July then keep on reading.

TV-show: Grey's Anatomy
Usually I absolutely hate TV-shows and never watch them. However, this month I found myself watching TV at the evening and discovered the old series from Grey's Anatomy. The next day I watched it again and so I started to watch every evening or even at midday. Yes, you can say that I started to become addicted watching this show and really enjoyed watching it.

Music
There are two songs that I absolutely loved.
Scream - Usher

Asaf Avidan - One Day/Reckoning Song (Wankelmut Remix)

Food
This sounds a bit weird, but I really enjoyed eating salad this month. During this hot weather, a salad is a nice and light cold meal. I know that a pure salad doesn't has a lot of vitamins, but combined with fennel, radish, bell pepper, a few hermes or any other nice vegetables a salad can be really nice.

Then I also loved drinking oatmeal milk with vanilla flavour instead of normal milk. I start to replace milk products just because I am not really convinced of milk products and this oatmeal milk doesn't has that much more calories. Oatmeal milk: 53 calories per 100ml Regular 1,5% fat milk: 49 calories per 100ml

Lastly, I enjoyed drinking my Breakfast Shake which you can find here. I really drank this every single morning one day with strawberries, then with berries a.s.o. and loved it every single day.

Books
This month I was in a reading-flow. Seriously I finished within 3 weeks Divergent and the whole trilogy of Fifty Shades. I will write a review of all of these three books. Now the reading-flow has ended, but I enjoyed reading all of these three books even though the Fifty Shades series is not worth the hype.

Games
Okay, this is really weird, but I started playing Sims again. And when I start playing it I can not stop doing this for a long time. And even though I played all family tragedies and now what will happen next, I am still fascinated by this game. Okay, now I stopped with it, but I know that the next Sims session will come!

I hope you like this post as much as I love writing them. Please let me know whether you want to see something like this every month!

Wish you a wonderful day!
Lots of love,
