3 Spring Outfits - From Business, Edgy To Casual

Recently I talked about the latest spring trends that I considered to be most wearable (Link) and also shared with you my first spring outfit idea with a trendy short suit (Link). So before I am going to make a zillion posts of all my spring outfit ideas, I thought that I will sum them up to one post. Thus, today I want to show you 3 different outfits in three styles inspired by this year's spring trends. I hope you can find something for your style.

Outfit No. 1: Elegant Cut Out Dress

This outfit is for a business day or during nighttime, so when you want to look a bit chic in general e.g. for a nice dinner. I wanted to incorporate only two colours: black and white/off-white/beige and a classy black dress with cut out details that are the latest spring trends. The pumps with the metallic tip add an extra touch to the outfit.

This outfit is perfect for a casual shopping day during a chilly spring day. In this outfit, I wanted to stay on the neutral side, so I stayed away from bright colours and rather worked with browns, khaki, and dusty colours like the dusty grey and dusty turquoise. Bermuda shorts are really in trend this year and I think golden accessories and a stylish pair of oxford shoes complete the outfit.

This outfit is inspired by the lovely Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and it is my favourite outfit. This outfit actually only consists of basics, but by adding all the accessories it starts to become so interesting. I also think that the combination of brown, black, grey and pastel colour works really well and looks incredibly stylish. This outfit is great for any occasion as it can be worn during a casual shopping day and when going out to a stylish bar.  

So these were my 3 outfits inspired by the spring trends for this year. I hope you liked the outfits and found one that suits to your style. Trendy & Bright Short Suit Outfit Idea

Ironically when I started to plan my Spring Series, it started to snow in my town, however, I don't see that as a sign right now and just keep on doing my spring series as I have planned to :) So I have already talked about my top 5 wearable fashion spring trends for 2013 which you can read here and I thought I'll start a spring series where I show you my outfit idea for every spring trend as some of you might find it hard to transform runway fashion to "normal fashion." So let's get started with the first trend - Short Suits:

I love the white shorts & blazer as it is not only a trend colour in spring but also is absolutely perfect for a bright but yet elegant and polished look. By choosing your short suit, when you don't buy the two pieces from one line, you have to pay attention that blazer and shorts have the same colour tone and cooperate with their textures. So a linen shorts doesn't work with a satin blazer. To put in some colour into this outfit, I choose coral for the blouse and the heels, but stayed with white for the bag and the jewellery. I think, two different colours in this outfit are totally fine. I went for a blouse as it is a more sophisticated look, however, it doesn't has the conservative cut but rather some ruffles which is a softer, beautiful version for spring and summer.

So this was one of my outfit idea for my spring fashion trends 2013 and I will come up with a few more outfit ideas during the couple of days. I hope you like this idea :)

My Top 5 Wearable Spring Fashion Trends 2013

How are you?

Even though it is incredibly cold outside and I am currently living in a freezing winter wonderland, the new fashion spring trends are out and I am super excited what we will find in the stores this year. To be honest, there are not that many new trends out there and only a few are really wearable in public. So I thought I will give you a little overview of my top 5 wearable spring fashion trends 2013.

Trend No.1: Short Suits

This fashion trend came up at the end of last summer, however, short suits are still incredible trendy this year. Watch out for bright short suits that give every woman a little boyish, business flair, but still enhances the female features.

Trend No. 2: Cut Out & Sheer

When you are searching for a sexy date dinner dress that is still a tiny bit conservative, the you will love   this season. There are a lot of dresses with sexy cut out around the midriff or beautiful sheer net details that reveal sexy details and still keep enough room for imagination.

Trend No. 3: Bermuda

I can remember seeing this trend years ago but this spring the bermudas are back! These longer shorts are perfect for a casual girl-next-door look during the warmer days.

Trend No. 4: Black & White

Really untypical for a spring fashion trend, but this spring we will see lots of black and white clothes. I love this trend as I am more the classic type and think that these clothes are timeless.

Trend No. 5: Low Heels

I couldn't believe this, but finally the designers discovered low heels again. We talking about ballerinas, sandals and also the lower to medium "high" heels like the picture on the right shows it quite well. I really appreciate this trend because I am quite tall and I think, women in medium heels can still look lovely and even tall girls in high heels appear to be a bit intimidating.

Sexy Purple Spring Make Up! (Perfect For Green Eyes)

This purple makeup is perfect for the spring weather which finally, is arriving here. Also, this purple eye makeup will suit perfectly to green eyes, but obviously, it will also suit to all other eye colours.

Products that I've used:

+ Catrice LE Enter Wonderland - C03 Lavenderlicious

+ Maybelline 33 Vintage Grey

+ Chicogo dark grey eyeliner pencil 

Apply the light pink eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye and on the half of your eyelid.

Apply the light purple eyeshadow all over the lid. Extend the colour to the outer part in a V shape.

Also apply this purple colour under your eye

Mix the light and dark grey together and blend it into your crease like a V- shape

Apply a dark grey eyeliner on the outer half of your upper lash line and smug it.

Curl your lashes, apply mascara and define your eyebrows.

And that's it! 

Finish the look with a nude pink lip. I used the P2 Lipstick in Sunset Boulevard

What is your perfect spring look?

Spring Makeup Tutorial

Spring is coming, or at least I hope so, and I wanted to introduce spring with a pastel, eye brightening and refreshing natural eye makeup. 

Products that I have used

Apply the light shimmery pinky mono eyeshadow all over the lid. Also, run that colour a little bit under your eye.

Take a light grey colour and apply it on the outer third on your eye and start blending.

Apply a white eyeshadow in your inner corner to highlight the eye.

Draw with a grey eye pencil a line along your upper line. It doesn't has to be neat.

Smudge the liner in the direction you want to have it. I extent the line a bit at the end of the lash line.

And then your eyes are done!

To slightly contour the face I take a sheer peach blush and apply it on the temples and at the end of my cheekbones. To give the look the extra touch I also add a pink blush on the cheekbones. Don't forget to blend so that you can't see any edges.

Because I want to keep this look as natural as possible, I just apply a tinted lip balm on my lips.

5 Ways To Get Into Spring Mood

                                 

Spring is around the corner, but sometimes it can be hard to really get into spring mood! Here are my Top 5 tips how I managed to enable my spring spirit!

1. Go out and enjoy the nature which is going to wake up and start blooming. It doesn't matter whether you go out for a hike, for a walk, if you do sports outside or if you just sit down in a park and read something. The smell of the awaking nature and the sunlight will brighten up your mood for sure.

2. Cut out the dark eyeshadow colours and your heavy make up. This year we are going to wear a lovely clean look where just pastel colours are going to enhance your natural beauty. The bright colours will definitely bring you into spring mood!

3. Like all the animals are on their way to find the right partner we should try our best in flirting. You don't have to search for Mr./Mrs. Right, just have a little bit of fun in your life and enjoy the minute of your life.

4. Flowers bloom on our landscape so why not adding flowers to our style. I love to add small flowers as an accessorize in my hair, it can also be a small flower clip, e.g. made out of corduroy. Also, it is time to get our flower dresses out of our wardrobe. Even if it is a little bit too cold outside, you can combine the dresses with a nice cardigan or light boobs.

5. Put the christmas and snowy decoration into the cellar and bring the spring atmosphere to your room by adding some nice fake flowers to your room, e.g. these beautiful cherry blossoms.

Spring/Summer Floral Hair Trend

The sun is shining and the nature blossoms. So why don't you bring the blossom in your hair?

Obviously, you can find in both stores lots of more flowers in different colours and sizes. Besides, you might be lucky to find some cheaper flowers :D

I can say for sure that these flowers give every single hairstyle during the summer time a special glow. Everyone will look at you in an interested way, not a scared one :D When you add this to your hair, you will look much more fresher and summery, of course. Please try this out, I never thought that this will make such a difference!!
