Führt Size Zero zur Essstörung?

Hey meine Lieben,

Warum?

Während einem Cheat Day genauso.

Back to the roots geht nicht wirklich.

Also hier für mich mein persönlicher 5 Punkte Plan:

(1) Instinktiv essen

15 Effortless Tips To Have A Good Sleep

On Sunday evenings I always have got problems in fallings asleep and I know that this is because in weekends I can not stick to my regular sleep schedule. However, their are some people who struggle with sleeping a lot, so here are my tips how to achieve a relaxing sleep.

1. Regular sleep schedule
Your body is used to special times when he has to sleep and when he has to wake up. The problem is that even a weekend is enough to put our body out of our regular schedule. Therefore, try to stick to your schedule as exact as possible and try to go to bed not more than 1 hour later than your usual bed time.

2. Bedtime ritual to relax
Before going to bed, a certain ritual can help you to give you the signal that it is now time to relax. I personally read a book or just prepare some stuff for school.

3. Keep the temperature right
A too hot or a too cold room can really effect your sleep. The ideal temperature is 18°C or 64F!

4. Keep noise down
The noisy traffic caused by cars, planes or trains will effect your sleep even when it is just unconsciously! Therefore, make sure that you don't live close to a large street when you want to buy/rent a house/flat, your windows are closed or wear ohropax.

5. Comfortable bed
A night in an uncomfortable position can be the pure horror. If you don't like your pillow, your blanket or your mattress then invest in a good one! It will make a difference!

6. Cut down on caffein
Caffein will effect your sleep even after drinking coffee 10-12 hours! The same thing applies to drinking tea!

7. Avoid alcohol
Even though a lot of people believe in certain effects of the alcohol so that one can sleep better, this isn't true! It could be possible that you can feel asleep faster, but the sleep is much lighter and superficial than a regular one. Thus, you will wake up more often during the night which isn't a relaxing sleep!

8. Forget the stress and start to relax
Before go to bed, it is important to not worry about the daily stress which we all have. Progressive muscle relaxation, mediation or deep breathing can help you with that!

9. Avoid thinking: "I have to sleep right now!"
Putting yourself under pressure by forcing yourself to sleep right now may have just the opposite effect on you. Rather say to yourself: "My goal it to relax!"

10. Visual a peaceful place
In order not to think about sleeping all the time AND in order not to think about your tasks, work etc. visual a peaceful place where you feel really comfortable. Don't think about something exciting just a calming story like a fantasy trip. This might sound a little bit weird, but this really works to stop the stream of thoughts in your head.

11. Write down your thoughts
When you are brainstorming in your bred or you get a fantastic idea there, then just take a piece of paper and write quickly a note. When you wake up, you will remember your thoughts and you don't have to worry about one idea the whole night. And don't forget, you will be much more productive in the morning!

12. Turn off TV&computer
Lots of people watch TV in order to fell asleep, but the Tv which its bright light suppress the melatonin so we our bay doesn't get the signal to sleep. Also, a TV can be really stirring just the opposite of relaxing.

13. Don't read from a backlit gadget (e.g. IPad)
The same thing like a TV, a backlit gadget will suppress your melatonin, thus your body doesn't want to sleep. I would suggest to read a normal book or a kindle which is written in E-Ink.

14. Avoid bright lights
As a I have already mentioned above, bright lights suppress your melatonin. Before going to bed try to dim your light or use just a smaller or softer light, so that your room doesn't shine in a really bright light.

15. Make sure that your room is dark
Lastly, the easiest advice, make sure that your room is dark. Even though it is as simple and really clear for a lot of people, it is really important to shut out every single light. Buy some thick curtains or a shutter, hang a towel over monitors and or switch off any gadgets that have a standby light or general light. Once your eyes got used to the dark, you will really notice these lights and they will irritate you form sleeping. Also, when you want to sleep a little but longer and the sun rises, you can forget your sleep!

I hope these tips will help you!
I have to mention that I could definitely improve my quality of sleep!
What do you have for tips?

How BenjimanTV saved my life

Hello everyone!

How are you? This blog post will be different from my other posts. This will be a personal message to Benji, also known as Benjimantv who is Judy's husband and also has his own youtube channel (Link) and uploads great food pictures on his Instagram account (Link). I am not silly, I know that he probably will never read this, but I really have to thank him. If you want to know why, then keep on reading.

Dear Benji,

firstly, congratulations on birth of your lovely girls Keira and Miya. Also with having your sweet daughter Julianna and the wonderful Judy, you are having such a beautiful family!
You are not only a great father and inspiring considering your regular workout routine, but also an amazing cook. And that's actually the point of this post. You are focusing on cooking healthy with lots of vegetables while keeping it tasty. Additionally, you are combining Japanese food with international recipes. I love the excitement that you put into buying groceries and preparing the recipes and in the end, sharing that all with us.

Because of you, I have rediscovered my passion for healthy cooking, enjoying cooking and actually carrying about what I put into my body.
The thing is that I have a rather hard relationship with food. 4 years ago I became anorexic. The cause were personal problems in school including bullying. It took me a long time to find a way out of this illness and only stopped therapy 1 1/2 years ago. Since then my relationship to food stayed pretty difficult as I swapped between an incredible healthy lifestyle to eating total crap.
It was never that bad that I only ate fast food because I always stayed an athletic person and never wanted to ruin my body totally. However, I stopped carrying about food, I didn't enjoy eating and didn't want to eat any veggies explicitly.
You not only pushed myself back into my old fitness level, but also revived the conscience of eating healthy and actually carrying about what I put into my body. I am also not talking about a temporary change as I already changed my whole eating habits for one month now and I am not even thinking about changing this any soon. As everyone says, fitness and health is made in the kitchen and I can totally confirm this.
So thank you so so much, Benji! By sharing your healthy and tasty recipes with the world, you have changed my life completely. You helped me to come back on track and to actually build up a healthy relationship to food.
Thank you very much for this!!!

All the best,

Marie

Now You Can Have A Stressful Full-Time Job and Still Love Every Day

Hello everyone!

How are you?
Today's post is about a slightly different topic inspired by my latest job experience during holidays. I want to show you how you can get the best out of your day and personalize it to your purpose so that you enjoy every single day even though you are working full-time. I know, that I am still a student, however, I have followed this plan during my job experience, therefore, I can say that it works! Thus, there are no excuses for not working out anymore as this plan provides you enough time to workout every single day.

Of course, this day plan is personalized on me and on the time it takes me to go to the office, but by waking up earlier or arranging some things here and there, this plan'll also be appropriate for you. I also pushed the workout in the morning as I have experienced that it can be sometimes hard to leave the office whereas it does not matter that much when you come a bit later in the morning. Also you have a lot of energy in the morning and will have an incredible feeling for the rest of the day.

Detailed explanation

7 a.m.        Wake up, have a cup of coffee & put on my workout clothes
7.30 a.m.   Go running // HIIT Training
8.30 a.m.   Take a shower, get dressed, apply make up & have a protein shake while heading to the tube
9.45 a.m.   Arriving at the office & start working
12 p.m.      Lunch break - going e.g. for a salad with protein or wrap
1 p.m.        Continue with my work
6 p.m.        Quitting the office and going home
7.30 p.m.   Have a dinner e.g. Pasta with vegetables and pepper
9 p.m.        Hobby // Relax Time e.g. watching TV, reading a book or just spending time with the beloved

I try to go to bed at about 11 p.m. in order to get 8 hours of sleep, but it doesn't always work. However, you still have the weekends to get a good amount of sleep :) So I hope you found this helpful. Keep in mind that obviously, there have to be done a few arrangements regarding your personal situation, but I think it is really important to workout regularly even though you are working full-time in an office.
Do you find it hard to workout when you are working full-time?

Wish you a perfect day!
Love,

10 Important Things You Miss When NOT Living Alone

Hello guys!

How are you?
Today I want to introduce you to a lovely guest blogger. Her name is Louisa and she has a lovely blog about love, relationships and all her experiences. Please check her blog here *Link*. Enjoy!

Hey! Here's Louisa :) I just recently moved into my very first own apartment, so I wanted to share with you 10 reasons why you should live alone. I thought about living in an apartment with another roommate because of the social aspects, however, I was bothered if I would have to make too much compromises and couldn't stand my roommate or just don't share the same lifestyle like him or her. And by the way, unfortunately, I am a pretty intolerant person.

#1 More responsibility
When you are living alone, you have to take more responsibility, however, that only matures you in a positive way. You learn to handle or organise things on your own and you learn that you don't need anybody any more to organise your life.

#2 Your own apartment - your personality
The good thing about your own apartment is that you can create and design your place exactly the way you want it to be. Every detail and every item represents your own personality and in the whole apartment "is your spirit".

#3 Better social life
While being alone, you are automatically forced to socialize more as being alone can be frustrating in the beginning. Every weekend I hang out with other friends which improves my relationships a lot.

#4 No compromises
While living alone, you don't have to do any compromises with your roommate. You can set your own sleeping time or learning time, you can go clubbing when you want and come home with anyone who want and at any time. No one judges about your lifestyle.

#5 Everything is how you want it to be
Without a roommate, everything stays automatically cleaner, also all the food in the fridge is yours and no one uses up your cosmetic products.

#6 Start talking to yourself
A funny side effect is that you start talking to yourself or you just turn on the TV all the time. I have no clue why that happens :D

#7 Start cooking more
Ordering food for one person isn't always possible and sitting in a restaurant alone is also not always the funniest thing. Thus, you start cooking more, also because no one judges about your cooking skills. Additionally, when you start cooking for yourself, you might start cooking a lot healthier as you become conscience of what you put into your body.

#8 Better fitness level
No one judges about your extended sport exercises, so you can do as many exercises at home or you can also go as often to the gym or running as you want to. I just started doing sit-ups in the evening when I have nothing to do.

#9 Leave the bathroom door open
Besides the fact, that you could walk around naked, you can also leave the bathroom door open without worrying that someone will come around the corner.

#10 FREEDOM
The best aspect is that you can literally do what every you would like to do. You have all the independence and freedom to do everything. When you want to cook pasta after a clubbing night at 5 am. or when you want to watch TV while falling asleep, absolutely everything is possible.

I hope you enjoyed this post and when you liked reading this, then please check out her blog. Please have a look here *Link* and leave her a comment by telling whether you liked her post.

I wish you a wonderful day!

Lots of love,

The Best Time To Check A Blog

Hello guys!

How are you?
I hope you enjoy your day. Today, besides of a little harder workout, I am going to start a cleaning day. Since I am living alone, any dirt or dust literally freaks me out. I think that this will fade after a while, however, till now I can't stand this at all. I also think about sharing my healthy and delicious dinner with you. I don't reveal what I'll cook ;)

So I wanted to share my new blogging schedule. I tried out posting every other day, but I hated the fact that one week you have 4 and then the other 5 posts. Then I tried out posting every single day which worked quite well, but was personally quite stressful. So, from this week I'll post a blog post from Monday to Friday - 5 times a week. And on weekends you have time to read all my posts or just have fun and enjoy the weekend.

This is what works for now. If I am forced to do any chances because of my law study, that starts in October, then I'll let you know that. However, till then I will keep this schedule up and hope that you like this more transparent overview.

I hope you found this helpful and tell me what are you doing today!

Lots of love,

What The Hell Was Going On?! - Everything changed

Hello guys!

How are you?
I can not express how much I have missed you. I also know that there is no really obvious excuse why I have been absent for such a long time. It literally feels like ages since I sat down and really wrote a blog post for you. Thus, I want to take the time and explain what was going on with my life.

Do you know when you suddenly lose the fun to do something or your head is full of so many things that there is just no space left for something that was important in your previous life, but can't cooperate with your new one?
Well, that happened when I met my first boyfriend, fell in love and had some wonderful months. I focused so much on him that I neglected quite a lot of things and what happened? Yes, we quit with a lot of tears and pains on my side only after three months. I had to suffer from my first lovesickness. Plus I graduated from school, I have now my Abitur, I applied to many universities and moved into a new city. The problem was that I didn't get an university place in the city where I wanted to, so I was really frustrated. However, a few days ago I got my desired university place, which was so surprising! Also, I started my hunter's license which was pretty hard and included a lot of learning, but I successfully also achieved this.

So who I am now? // I am a law student in my favourite city. I am living alone in a tiny studio apartment, because the rents are incredible high here. I am living central in a metropolis, but still have to cope with living alone. I have had my first boyfriend, I am over him and I am really enjoying my single life. I am sometimes thinking about him and I have no new boyfriend. I have learnt how important it is to have good friends and I am became a lot more social, spontaneous and open. //

I really feel that with me being a student a new chapter in my life starts. And you are a part of this new chapter. I needed the break during this transition and here I am back in order to post new content and new posts.

So I am questioning you: Do you like the content of the previous posts or are you interested in something new, other emphasis? More fitness, health, food, recipes post or staying with the haul, fashion and beauty section?

I am so glad that I am ready to start again & I hope that you are staying with me!

Lots of love,

My Bedroom Makeover!

Hello everyone!

How are you?
A lot has been going on in my life and probably will be, so sorry for any posts that I am missing and that I can't post that regular any more. However, today I want to share with you one of my big projects on which I am working. It is my bedroom makeover! Okay, in fact, I just bought a new, larger bed because I am going to move to another flat in two months, so it doesn't make any sense to completely redecorate my whole bedroom. In detail, I followed these steps until I had my new bed.

Step #1: Research a lot and take your time to reflect about your purchase. If you still like it after 2 weeks or more, then this might be the perfect furniture for you. Also think about the colour and what really suits into your bedroom.

Step #2: Design or plan your future bedroom with a virtual online room planer e.g. the one by Roomle (Link) or draw a plan so that you make sure that it fits into your bedroom.

Step #3: Organize the purchase, your helpers and the transport beforehand, so that you don't lose the overview.

Step #4: Now there starts my individual progress. I just cleared out my whole bookshelf, removed all the books that I don't read, moved it into another room and put all books back into the shelf. I also reorganized everything in my room, so that I was able to remove one complete DVD shelf.

Step #5: Then I carried my bed from the first ground to the top floor.

Step #6: And I did some retouches on the wallpaper and cleaning because of all the work.

Step #7: Finally, I bought the bed and build it. I rearranged and decorated everything and I was done.

With the collage I tried to give you a little idea of how my bedroom looks like right now. Except of the last step I did everything on my own and I am quite proud of this. I also absolutely love my bed and am totally blessed with the idea of buying it before I move.
I hope you liked this little insight and have a wonderful sunny day!

Love,

The Surprising & Unexpected Effects of Passing Final Exams

Firstly, hey everyone!

I hope you have a lovely day and perhaps you experience a sunny spring day somewhere whereas the weather here sucks so much. However, let's go back to the topic.

So basically, after finishing my written final exams and have been forced to stick to a tough and disciplined time schedule, I experienced a huge progress in my private management. Before this huge study time, I totally freaked out when I had to do two things in a time and was incapable of behaving spontaneous, flexible or open to new topics as they caused so much stress for me.
Now, after my exams, I am so much better in time-managment, in fact, I don't delay any task that I have to do, I stay rather focused and rational. Therefore, I can complete much more tasks on a daily or weekly basis than I ever could without being stressed and additionally, staying open for new tasks.

In detail, I am able to handle 5 important aspects in my life without neglecting any of them. I do everything for my school and all extra work including homework, presentation etc. and I can keep social contacts to all my friends and beloved for the first time, also arranging some private meetings with doctors etc. I am also able to do a cardio & strength workout plan that needs quite a bit of time and find some time for my hobbies or just some plain free-time. Of course, there are days were I am not able to do one of these things, but in general, I am pretty good in keeping it in balance. I never thought that I might be able to handle all of this, perhaps it has something to do with the patience and calmness that I get after running.

Nevertheless, I am really satisfied with this balance and my ability to handle all of my important things. I think, it is all about balance and finding the daily routine that works best for you. Thus, you can even "multi-task" when you have a full-time job and I highly recommend working on this as it really reduces stress and this constant dissatisfaction that I have experienced.
So tell me whether you find it hard to handle everything in your life?

Wish you a stress-free day!
Love,

Life Update: Abitur, Study, Moving Out, Boyfriend,...

Hello everybody!

I hope you are doing well!
I wanted to give you a little update of my life, what is going on, what happened and what are my plan for the future as I haven't done such a post for a really long. Or have I ever done such a post? Anyway.
As some of you might have heard, I have finished my final exams which means that I still have to pass my oral exams in June and obviously have to pass both tests and then I am done. But let's say that the written part was the toughest one and after months of learning I am finally relieved. The problem is that I seriously don't know what I have to do in my free time. I had to set aside most of my hobbies or any deep pleasures and reading a normal book made me feel that I forget everything that I have learned. So now, I actually could do everything, but still can't enjoy the hobbies as I still have the longing to do something efficient or effective.

The next huge step is that I am going to move into my own flat. Okay, it's not going to happen before September, but this step, which also includes starting to study, opens up a complete new chapter in my life resp. is a complete new life. This step gives me more freedom and independence, but also means that I have more responsibilities, tasks and have to do more serious decisions and stand for them. I think you call this growing up or maturity and I am excited and a bit scared of this new chapter in the same time. However, this may allow me to become more self-confident and to do what I want.

Another step is to incorporate a healthy and well-balanced diet into my eating plan when I live alone. I already eat quite healthy and I even think that this will become a bit easier as I decide what I buy and I usually don't buy sweets for my own, thus, there will be only "clean food" in my fridge. Hopefully ;)
And I assume a really clean and controlled eating plan will also push my fitness level to a next level. So I think about starting the ZCUT Program created by Zuzka Light once it is released in Europe while I am living a home and really get in the best shape I have ever been.

I also still want to change my attitude towards the life. Basically, I want to enjoy the life more, be more spontaneous, live the moment and not worry so much about everything and everyone. Just to be my own individual with my own personality, my own dreams and own longings -  just to be authentic. I started with this project last year and I did a lot of progresses and learned to enjoy my life with all senses. The only step that is missing is finding a proper and serious relationship. I don't want to talk about my past relationships, I want to look forward and the thing is that I was so busy because of my Abitur and was a bit too focused on school in the past. So yes, I am ready to love someone as I learned to love myself! ;)

Okay, before I start to talk about god and the world, I just stop here, but I hope you liked this little life update. Tell me what has been going on in your life and what had been your experiences when you were moving out?

Wish you a wonderful day! Love,

The 3 Most Amazing Electronic Songs

I never thought that I start to develop a love for electronic music.
I am a total beginner in this music branch, so I would be really pleased when you tell me a few other songs. But here we go with my top 3 electronic songs.

Don't Think by The Chemical Brothers
I got to know this music again from a movie called "Black Swan". If you know the movie, this is the song when Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis go into the club and start dancing and take drugs. I think, the chemical brothers are absolutely talented in their music branch. The song has variations in the rhythm, volume and different beats. This is my favourite song of all of them.

Funk (The Bloody Beetroots Remix) by Etienne de Crecy from the movie 99 francs
This song is absolutely crazy. When you don't know the movie, then you definitely ave to watch it. It is about a product designer who takes, like a typical creative person, dugs. And in his drug flow, this music is played and that exactly how it sounds like.

Don't Move by Phantogram
I love the beginning of the song and in general, this song has such creates such a unique atmosphere. I have to admit that this song has its length in the middle of the song, but again I really love this song even though it is my least favourite.

Please tell me if you like my little music favourites, because I love listening to music and thus, I love doing these posts.

All the best,

My Favourite Websites - Perfect for Avoiding to Study

Hello everyone!

How do you do? Well, I am studying, studying and studying. I can't see all my folders, learning scripts and exercises anymore and when I need a little bit of free time in order to interrupt my learning sessions, I find myself browsing the internet. So I thought I might show you my favourite websites, but pay attention, you really easily forget the time when you are checking all these amazing sites. :)

Fitness

Daily Hiit (Link)
The old Bodyrock.tv renamed itself and now is called "Daily Hiit". I check this website daily as I do mostly all their workouts. The whole website is completely different to the old one, so it took a while to get used to the new layout, but that doesn't change the quality of the workouts they are posting. I would even say that they are even more intense and I can definitely see changes on my body.

Zuzka Light (Link)
The co-founder of Bodyrock.tv started her own website with extremely hard, short and amazing workouts. I have to admit, I even like them more than the Bodyrock ones.

Sarah Fit (Link)
I like Sarah because she is totally fit, but still has a healthy weight. I really like her diet advice and food recommendations.

Tone it up (Link)
The two girls are really sympathetic and represent the typical California girls. I check the site recipes, food hauls and motivation, not because of their workouts.

Food

Skinny taste (Link)
This is a site created by a mother who cooks healthy recipes for every occasion from dinner, breakfast, lunch to delicious desserts.

I breathe... I'm hungry... (Link)
This website has the same concept like skinny taste. I have already made some of the recipes and they are really delicious.

Chocolate covered Katie (Link)
Katie gives healthy alternatives for sweet desserts so that you don't have to give up all these desserts.

Dashing Dish (Link)
This is the last, but also least favourite cooking site. I love all her recipes and they look so amazing, but I do not like that you have to be an exclusive member to be able to see everything.

Home Inspirations

Apartment therapy (Link)
This is a really professional site that gives informative advice for decorating and designing your new home, doing DIYs and before/after comparisons.

The inspired room (Link)
This is a wonderful website with lots of inspirational pictures, designs and decoration ideas. I am going to move to my first own flat, so this really helps me finding the style I like.

Live Love DIY (Link)
Normally I am not the DIY person, but I love this website as the design of this whole house is so inspirational and definitely represents my style.

Photography

fotocommunity (Link)
This is for all your photography fans even though this is a German website! This community offers an incredible pool of photography and one can find amazing photos there.

Fun

Law School Fun
And lastly, for anyone who is studying law and wants to throw all the learning stuff out of the window, this is the perfect site for you! This is another site in German, but so incredibly funny!!!

So these were my favourite websites. I know, these are a lot, but I had way to much time browsing through the internet during the last couple of days. I should definitely start learning more intense :) So I hope you are having a great day and you don't have to study that much. Have fun with the websites and tell me what are your favourite websites?

Have a wonderful day! Love,

The Easiest Way To Choose The Right Job For You

A lot of teenagers struggle with the huge question: what am I going to do after my school degree? What am I going to study? There exist a lot of methods how to find the right job for oneself, but here is the easiest way how to find the right job for you!

I had the same problem like probably every teenager has got. I didn't know what I wanted to do in my future and even very closely before my school degree I had no plan what to do or what to study. Researches in the Internet and all my friends and family told me that I have to do something where I have fun. Then other specialists said that I had to do something with my hobbies and again other people said that I have to focus on my strengths.

"Some start to connect their future perspectives to much with the subjects that are required in school"
However, I think the problem is that this, I call it now, "future-stress" is really intensified by school. I know that they want to help the students and what to take the fears away, but some start to connect their future perspectives to much with the subjects that are required in school and automatically go into a certain branch like biology, chemistry etc. This is a good think if you are really interested in one of these subjects, however, it should taken into consideration that there also exist other subjects that are not required in school and so you can have skills which you haven't recognized yet.

Also, it is nearly impossible to find a job where you will have fun when you even don't know all jobs and often don't have a clue what they are doing the whole day. Thus, I realised that there exist just one way to find the right job. Of course, you have to thing about what you like and you also can not study maths when you had terrible marks in maths, but basically, this helped me to find my "dream job".

Do an internship and just start studying the subject!
This sounds so easy and it really is! When I did my first internship, I just thought it would be good for my CV, but in fact, you really get to know a certain job. However, in order to find out whether a job really suit to you, you have to test it practically. And if you don't have the opportunity for that during an internship, then just start studying your preferred subject!

Finding your right job is like finding a good make up product!
You will never know whether this product works for you unless you tested it and then you can build your own opinion on this. The same thing works with your job. You will never know whether this is the right job for you unless you tested it. When you find out that you don't like your current subject, then you still have time to change it, but you will never blame yourself for not trying out your desired job when you are old.

I hope this was helpful! What is your dream job and how did you find this?

Wish you a wonderful day!
Lot of Love,
