Get Ready With Me: Dinner Party with Friends!

Hey everybody!

Today I went out to an evening dinner party with my friends in order to celebrate our graduation. It was not a fancy event or any posh restaurant, but rather a pretty casual and laid-back dinner, so I payed attention at not to be over-dressed. I more enjoyed doing a little more obvious make-up resp. two months ago I wouldn't call this an intense makeup, but because I haven't had the time to do that for the last months, this is pretty intense for me right now. So let's have a closer look.

Hair

I just had a shower right before I left, so I blow-dried my hair. Then I used a little volume spray on my roots, a shimmer spray in my length and I was ready to go.

Outfit

I tried to take a picture of my outfit, but I totally failed out of various serious. However, I tried to find examples for the clothes that I wore, so the blouse is not that minty but it is a good example in terms of the shape. Basically, I wanted to look casual chic and thus, I choose a basic dark denim skinny jeans and tugged in a dusty blue fluffy blouse.

Make-up

My base consisted of Astor anti shine make up in 201 sand, the Catrice Light Reflecting Concealer under the eyes and the Vichy Dermablend Concealer for concealing my pimples. Also I used the Bourjois bronzer as a blush on my cheeks and a tiny bit where the sun would naturally hit me.

After applying an eyeshadow base, I went on with the second colour from the left from the Catrice Absolute Nude Palette and applied it all over the lid. Then I used the Alverde baked eyeshadow in Glam Mauve and blended it into my crease. I lined my upper lashline with the dark brown colour from the Essence eyebrow set and used the light brown from the palette for my eyebrows. Lastly, I curled my lashes and used the Essence I Love Extreme Mascara.

For the lips, I decided to go with the MAC lipstick in Blankety. In total, I tried to focus on the eyes as the lipstick will come of during the dinner anyway. 

So this was my makeup, outfit and hair for this evening dinner. Again, the makeup part was also pretty exciting for me as I haven't done any fancy eyemake-ups during my study time. But I am glad that I haven't forget how to do that :) I hope you forgive me that I wasn't able to show you my outfit in real and I wish you a lovely day!

Vor sehr langer Zeit irgendwann im Oktober habe ich mir die Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Ultimate Repair Anti-Schaden-Kur gekauft und habe es bisher trotz einiger Anfragen noch nicht geschafft eine Review über das Produkt zu verfassen. Erst befand ich mich in der Testphase und dann im Klausurenstress, daher hoffe ich, dass ihr mir die sehr verspätete Review verzeihen könnt. Aber legen wir doch gleich los.

Die ULTIMATE REPAIR ANTI-SCHADEN-KUR pflegt sehr geschädigtes und trockenes Haar und verleiht ihm neue Widerstandskraft - bereits nach 1 Minute Anwendung. Die spezielle Formel mit 3x flüssigen Haarbausteinen repariert Haarschäden zielgenau und füllt Risse wieder auf. Die Haarstruktur wird wieder aufgebaut und Haarbruch um bis zu 95% reduziert.

Anwendung

• Nach der Haarwäsche sanft ins feuchte Haar einmassieren und 1 Minute einwirken lassen.
• Sorgfältig ausspülen!
• 2-3-mal wöchentlich anwenden.

Ergiebigkeit

Sehr ergiebig! Wie man oben auf dem Bild erkennen kann, habe ich vielleicht nur ein Achtel des ganzen Produktes benutzt, jedoch benutze ich es auch nur einmal die Woche und nicht 2-3mal. Ich verteile es ab Kinnlänge abwärts und benötige trotz sehr dickem Haar nur eine ca. 2€ Stück Menge für jede Seite.

Meine Meinung

Meiner Meinung nach ist dies die beste Haarkur, die ich bisher in der Drogerie gefunden habe. Sie ist selbstverständlich nicht zu ersetzen mit einem Friseurbesuch, dennoch war mein Haar eindeutig geschmeidiger und glanzvoll nach jeder Anwendung. Außerdem blieb dieser Effekt über mehrere Tage bestehen und verschwand nicht nach einigen Stunden wie ich es schon bei anderen Haarkuren erlebt habe. Insgesamt konnte ich sehen, dass meine sehr trockenen Spitzen durch die Kur weniger splissanfällig waren, bis in die Spitzen mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt wurden und daher das Gesamtbild meiner Haare verbessert werden konnte. Da der Hersteller empfiehlt es 2-3mal wöchentlich zu benutzen, könnte man sogar noch ein besseres Ergebnis erwarten, daher ist dieses Produkt eine volle Kaufempfehlung!

Ich hoffe diese Review war ein wenig hilfreich und konnte euch bei eurer Kaufentscheidung helfen. Selbstverständlich mag das Produkt nicht unbedingt genauso gut an deinem Haartyp wirken, da man vor allem bei feinem Haar aufpassen muss, dass das Produkt die Haare nicht zu erschwert. My New Hair Colour!!!

Hello everybody!

Have you ever experienced a moment where you know it is the time to do something no matter what you want to do. When you just can not live under the current circumstances anymore and you have to change it immediately. Well, this exactly happened with me on Wednesday. I couldn't stand out my hair colour anymore. It just didn't fit my lifestyle and my personality anymore. I don't know why it came and how it came, but I have never wanted to change my hair colour that urgently in my entire life yet and I have never scheduled an appointment at my hair dresser without thinking about it for at least 2 weeks.

Well, I did it. I am blonde! Okay, to be honest, I have already been blonde before, but it was more a medium blonde which turned out to be really dark during the winter time. So I have already talked about my Balea Lightening Spray which, unfortunately, made my hair a bit orange as I have a red undertone in my blonde and so this was the right time to get some nice and professional light blonde highlights.

My main inspiration was Scarlett Johansson even though I don't look nothing like here, but she has got the same fair complexion and natural hair colour as I have. My real hair colour is pretty similar to hers:

And with this spirit I walked into my hair dresser, decided to get a lot of thin and natural blonde highlights all around my head and I love it! Of course, I have to get used to my new look but I think, that it makes me a lot fresher, brighter and awake, especially during the winter time. It also suits better to my personality, I just don't "feel like my old hair colour any more" as I find that blonde highlights transfer a certain atmosphere with them like joy, happiness, lively, experimentally.

Even though this was a rather spontaneous action which I so untypical for me, I love it so much guys. One reason I never wanted to dye my hair is because of the roots but since this week I know that these are just excuses or worries of a person that doesn't want something for 100%. I can just say to you: If you want something - Just do it!

Balea Professional More Blond Aufhellungsspray - Review & Bilder

Hallo meine Lieben!

Noch im Sommer habe ich das Balea Professional More Blond Aufhellungsspray gekauft, da ich meine natürliche Aufhellung während der Sommerzeit ein wenig helfen wollte. Um ehrlich zu sein hatte ich keine hohen Erwartungen und so landete das Produkt eher aus Spaß und versuchsweise in meinem Einkaufskorb. Meine Mutter lachte mich noch aus und selbst ich glaubte an keinen Effekt, doch falsch gedacht. Der Effekt ist beachtlich und ich bin  von dem Produkt zutiefst beeindruckt! I Got A New Haircut!!!

Since a really long time I wanted to change my hairstyle, but I was to scared of cutting my hair off and I wasn't sure which hairstyle suits me. In the picture above you can see Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's hair which shows my hair in the exact same situation. I have long hair for two years now and two years ago I was one of the first in school who had these long, wavy hair. However, during the last year the Hollywood trend finally arrived in school and everyone started to grow his hair. Now even in university, everyone has these long hair which are seen as the ideal, perfect hairstyle. And when everyone wears a trend, I am the first one who changes his style in order not to suit into the mainstream. 

By the way, I have light to medium curly hair, I have medium thick, but a lot of hair. My hair colour is, like in the picture, medium to dark, red blonde and I get blonde highlights in the summertime. Because I have so many hair, you just saw hair and I was nearly able to go out topless, because I had like a fur over my breast :)

Inspired by Scarlett Johansson's totally glamourous appearance and her fresher hairstyle, the idea of changing my hairstyle was set. After searching a long time in the internet I found this incredible Virtual Hair Makeover by Instyle which you can find here.

I really tested a lot of Virtual Hair Tester, but this is the best one. So I started testing all the 160 hairstyles and I found the one I was searching for.

Because I was still to scared of cutting my hair off above my shoulders, I finally cutted my hair like this:

Elizabeth Olsen has exactly my hair colour, so this picture shows my actual hairstyle quiet well.

The funny thing was that I wasn't scared of cutting my hair off when I was sitting in the seat of my hairdresser at all. I really felt that this was the right thing what I was doing and I actually longed for this look. 

I really love my new hairstyle. I feel more matured, sophisticated, glamourous and more neat. Now with less hair in my face, you can see my face, my jewelry and my clothes much better, I can also wear totally different make-up. Thus, I can totally recommend to try out the Instyle Hair Makeover and to change your hairstyle. A blogger wrote: "Every woman should cut her hair short once in her life." and I totally agree with this and maybe next time I am brave enough to cut my hair off above the shoulders.

Konsistenz: zwischen Gel und Creme, wie ein normales Shampoo

Farbe: durchsichtig

Geruch: sehr zitronig, dennoch ein wenig süßlich; im nassen Zustand riecht es jedoch sehr stark nach Zitrone, Ähnlichkeit mit Spülmittel/Kloreiniger ist vorhanden
Sonstiges: rein pflanzlich (vegan), ohne Silikone

Anwendung: Man massiert das Shampoo in die feuchten Haare ein, doch es entsteht kaum Schaum, wodurch das Produkt schlecht auf dem ganzen Kopf verteilt werden kann. Daher benötigt man sehr viel Produkt. Ausgewaschen hinterlässt das Shampoo ein sehr quietschendes, sauberes Gefühl.

Positiv: ohne Silikone, rein pflanzlich, sauberes Gefühl, Haare werden gereinigt, Preis

Negativ: schlechte Verteilung im Haar, hoher Produktverschleiß, kaum Schaumbildung, kein großartiges "Glanzergebnis"

Fazit:
Das Shampoo tut seine Funktion, indem es meine Haare von Fett befreit und es sehr sauber macht. Dennoch verleiht es meinem Haar nicht den Glanz, den das Shampoo verspricht, es wurde sogar ein wenig matter als im Vergleich zu meinem vorherigen Shampoo. Daher lässt sich auch von einer Geschmeidigkeit des Haares kaum reden, welche nur durch eine zusätzliche Kur zu erzielen ist. Des Weiteren muss man für das komplette Haar mehr Produkt nehmen als bei herkömmlichen Shampoos, da es nicht genügend aufschäumt, um über die gesamten Kopfhaut verteilt werden zu können. Dennoch bereue ich nicht das Shampoo gekauft zu haben. Ich denke, dass ein silikonfreies Shampoo auf pflanzlicher Basis natürlich nicht den gewünschten (künstlichen) Effekt haben kann wie die chemischen Shampoos, es wahrscheinlich aber besser für die Haare ist. Somit bin ich wahrscheinlich nur silikonhaltige Shampoos gewöhnt und benötige nur eine gewisse Gewöhnungszeit.

Huge Makeup/Beauty Haul! (L'oréal, Astor, John Frieda and more)

Yesterday I went kind of crazy in the drugstore, nevertheless, I thought this is the best time to share my treasures with you!

Astor Mattitude HD Foundation which promises Anti Shine in High Definiton for 16 hours.

I bought this foundation because it is oil free and it has SPF 22 which is perfectly for the summer time!

Astor Anti Shine Mattitude Powder is from the same line like the foundation. I really needed a new powder, so why not buying the one which suits to the foundation perfectly.

L'ORÉAL Super Liner is an amazing product. I will definitely do a review of this, but the application is super easy and super neat!

       

John Frieda's Frizz-Ease is a legend and now I bought this legendary product. I hope that this really will give me an improvement in my frizzy hair ;)

The Manhattan waterproof eyeliners are absolutely amazing because they really stay on the whole day without overpowering the liner! Because of this reason I bought the black eyeliner as I just own a dark brown one.

The Catrice Eye Brow Stylist Pen comes with a colour that suits to my eyebrows perfectly. I don't have a red undertone, I just have ashy blonde eyebrows and for this, this eyebrow pen is so good.

And lastly I bought a new eyeshadow base from Manhattan because the Essence one just lasts about 5 hours and I for me an eyeshadow base has to last +8 hours. Hopefully, this will do its job!
