Classic Pin Up Eye Make Up

This is quick "Eye Of The Day" shows you a classic pin up eye make up. Just imagine the red lipstick and then you rock your Marilyn Monroe style.
This make up look is so easy and fast to do, the only tricky thing is the eyeliner, but after a bit of practice you will be able to do that within 5 minutes and you can even wear this look as your everyday look.

Step by Step Guide
  • Apply a beige eyeshadow in your skin colour  all over the lid.
  • Apply a light to medium brown eyeshadow lightly into your crease and blend it, so that it looks like a natural shadow.
  • Apply a black line on the top lashes. Start with a thin line in the inner corner and wing it out at the end. I used the L'Oréal SuperLiner which I reviewed here.
  • Fill in your eyebrows with the typical defined arch.

I really like this look because it goes with absolutely every lipstick. Red, Nude, Rosy, Everything!
With this look everyone of you will look elegant and it suits to every eye colour and eye shape.
In fact, during the last time this kind of make up is the base of all my other make up looks.

So that's it. Please let me know whether you like an eyeliner look or whether you think it is a bit to much for an everyday look?

I wish you a wonderful day! All the best,

Top 10 Must Have Summer Beauty Products

The summer is hopefully coming even though I can not still believe in this when I look at the weather forecast for Europe. Nevertheless, I thought it is time to show you my Top 10 Must Have Summer Beauty Products, so that I feel at least a bit more summery.

1. Sunscreen
This is probably clear for everyone, but I wanted to mention it because it is really important! Everyone has to apply sunscreen every day during the summertime because this protects your skin from UVA/UVB rays which cause moles, wrinkles and skin cancer.

2. Self Tanner
Because I don't want to increase the possibility of skin cancer and I hate lying in the sun, I don't go in the sun too often. However, I still want to look tanned and a bit fresher, so I use my St. Moriz Self Tanning Mousse, which is absolutely amazing!

3. Self Tanner & Sunscreen
This is a weird and in the same time intelligent product because this sunscreen by NIVEA is also a small self tanner or let's say tan booster. This product protects your skin from the sun and tans softly in the same time. This is really fun because while your friends are going to be red, you will be naturally nicely tanned in a few minutes.

4. Primer
As well as an eyeshadow primer I recently discovered what a difference a face primer can make. Especially when it's hot outside and you're sweating, the primer keeps your foundation and concealer in place. Also it refines the pores around your nose, mouth and chin.

5. Coral Lipstick
I am not a fan of coral lipsticks in the winter and I always think that they kind of don't suit to me with pale skin. But when I am getting a bit of a tan, it is always time for my coral lipsticks. One of my favourite ones are Esprit lipstick (discontinued), Catrice Shy Flamingo and Manhattan Soft Mat Lipcream which I reviewed here.

6. Lipbalm
I think in the summertime we don't need a perfectly made lipstick even though I love red and berry perfectly made lips. However, when you are sweating or drinking or going to the pool, I think a nice lip balm is absolutely perfect because it doesn't have to be reapplied with a mirror. Labello and The Body Shop do really good lip balms.

7. Bright Nail Polish
I absolutely love bright nail polishes on tanned hands. Thus, I always pick really bright colour during the summertime. Because I also tend to where more colorful and bright clothes, I think the bright colour really suit to the whole look and give your outfit the extra pop. Additionally, every single time when you look down to your hands you have to have good mood!

8. Bronzer
I also use bronzer in the winter, but I definitely go crazy with bronzer in the summer. I apply it over the whole face, where the sun naturally would hit me, as a blush or as a contour. It is so variable, thus, I can never decide which look I want to do.

9. Coral & Red Blush
As I start loving coral lipsticks, I also start loving coral blushes in the summer because I think this looks more natural on my skin than a cold rosy blush. I also really like red blushs in the middle of the summer because when you apply a tiny amount of this on your cheeks, it really look like a nice sun tan/burn.

10. Sleek Blush "Rose Gold"
This product has its own category because of its uniqueness. I absolutely hated this product when I bought it in winter and I couldn't understand why everyone is loving it so much as well as the NARS Orgasm. Two days ago I gave this blush another try and now in the warmer summer light with a slightly tanned face this blush looks absolutely amazing! Thus, this is a really special 100 percent summer beauty products because it looks refreshing, glowy and beautiful in the summer whereas it is definitely not wearable in the winter.

So these were my Top 10 Must Have Summer Beauty Products.
Hope this post was helpful and please let me know which are your summer beauty products?

3 Simple Steps To Cure Acne

Acne is awful and can limits yourself not only physical but also psychological. When I had my huge break outs I didn't have any self confidence and was even afraid to go to school on some days. However, I got my acne under control!
Even though I still sometimes get a few pimples, it isn't comparable with my situation before that and with these 3 easy steps you can get the control of your acne too!

The basic routine of getting rid of acne consists of 3 steps:

1. Wash you face twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, with a gentle cleanser! Take about a size of a walnut of cleanser and massage it gently on your face concentrating on the areas where you produce the most oil. Left it there for a minute so that your pores can absorb the cleanser, then rinse it of with lukewarm water. Lastly, spread a bit of cold water over your face to close the pores. Dry your face by dabbing over your face with a clean towel.

2. Apply a cream that contains oxides before going to bed. There a lot of creams who contain the ingredient benzoyl peroxide as for example the OXY Spot Treatment. The creams come in different percentages of benzoyl peroxide: 2%, 5% and 10%. I would suggest starting with the lowest one and working yourself to the top. The benzoyl peroxide is really aggressive to your skin, but it will oxidise the surface of your skin away and destroy the bacteria in the pimples. Make sure that you wash your hands after using the cream because it can have some serious reactions by touching e.g. your eyes! The amount of product depends on the amount of acne you have. Generally speaking, I would say that one whole finger of the creme is enough for the whole cheeks full of acne.

3. Use a moisturizer that suits to your skin type. I saw a lot of people who get pimples just by using the wrong moisturizer! When you have oily/acne prone skin then do not use a moisturizer that contains oil and pay attention that the product says "for oily/acne prone skin" or at least "for all skin types". Even though a lot of people say oily skin doesn't need any moisturizer, I made the experience that my skin produces less oil when I give it enough hydrations over night. Therefore, apply a richer moisturizer over night and a lighter one based on water during the day.

Once you got your acne under control you can reduce the amount of OXY Spot Treatment. Nevertheless, I still use this treatment about every 4th day because my skin would definitely break out agin if I didn't apply this cream.

[Swatches] Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick

Chanel Lipstick - Rouge Allure Velvet 40 La Sensuelle

You open this lipstick like this:

And you get one of the most beautiful berry colour if ever seen. It's an very intense colour which will suit perfectly to pale skin, but you can also apply it really lightly.

blended & normal

This lipstick has a new formulation which promises that the lipstick doesn't dry out your lips anymore even though it's so long-lasting. This is definitely true, because the colour lasts incredibly long and in the same time it feels more creamy and smooth than sticky.

 in the daylight

The lipstick costs about 28-30€ which is quiet expensive, but it's totally worth it! I think, you even feel undescribable luxurious just because of this extremely expensive packaging.

Have a wonderful, wonderful day!!!

☆☆☆☆ (keine) Sterne

Was haltet ihr von dem Produkt? Habe ich es vielleicht falsch angewendet?
