May/June Favourites

Two new months are over, so it's time for my bi-monthly favourites. I currently use so a lot of different products that I think about doing a favorites post every month, so let's have a look whether this will happen.

Essence Sun Club Bronzer for Blondes
I bought this products years ago, but I never knew how to use it because it has a really red undertone so that it isn't usable as a bronzer. However, applied as a normal blush concentrated on the apples of the cheeks, this products gives you a natural tanned and "heated" look.

Essence Eyeshadow - 22 blockbuster and Artdeco Eyeshadow 520
I used the Essence eyeshadow to create a neutral and flawless base and the Artdeco eyeshadow to put this in the crease as a natural shadow. Especially the Artdeco is the best eyeshadow for a natural shadow in the crease and it can also be used to fill in your eyebrows.

Maybelline Everfresh Concealer
I used this concealer for my under eye circles for years now. However, recently I used this concealer for pimples, any redness and my under eye circles, so that this little concealer replaced my whole foundation. I think this is a great alternative for the summer.

Manhattan Gel Eyeliner Black and Manhattan Eyeliner Brush
Even though I had a love-hate-relationshio with gel eyeliner, especially with cleaning the eyeliner brush afterwards, I really love these two items a lot. After a bit of practice the eyeliner brush is absolutely great to draw a precise line and the eyeliner lasts the whole day.

Rival de Loop Eyeshadow Pencil - 11 Frosty White
Originaly this pencil was bought in order to function as a base for any eye make-up look. However, the colour payoff is not extremely intense, so I found out that it refreshes every eye make-up when you apply it along your waterline.

Blistex Lip Tone
I did a review of this products (click here), but to sum up, it is the perfect everyday lipcolour which moisturizes the lips and gives a natural red lip colour.

Essence Stay with me lipgloss - 02 my favourite milk shake
This lipgloss is a long lasting lipgloss and indeed, it lasts at least 6 hours. It is a natural, beautiful, nude rosy colour that doesn't crease and your lips even appear bigger.

Alverde Bodybutter Macadamianut and Karitébutter
This is an absolute amazing body butter, because it really moisturizes even very dry skin. In fact, this is the first body butter that has a strong smoothing effect on my skin.

88 Neutral Eyeshadow Palette - light green and medium brown, green eyeshadow
I mixed a light green eyeshadow with a little bit of gold glitter and a medium green eyeshadow with a tiny brown tone in order to create an eyeshadow that is similar to  the MAC eyeshadow Patina. I loved to use this natural, but unordinary eyeshadow as an everyday look all over the lid.

So these were my beauty favourites for the last two months. I hope you liked reading this post and please let me know whether you would be interested in a beauty favourite every month and even in a non-beauty favourite!

Wish you a wonderful day!

March/April Favourites

It's time for my bi-monthly favourite and this month I was definitely so much into blush! But let's have a closer look:

Maybelline Cream Touch Blush in 07 Plum was my go to blush. I rediscovered it after a long break and absolutely fell in love with it. It looks absolutely natural and suits to every skin tone.

Manhattan Bronzing Powder - I used this in combination with the Manhattan Blush from their Oktoberfest LE to set the cream blush. The bronzer warms up the rosy cool blush and thus, it creates the perfect colour for this spring weather outside.

Manhattan Make Up Base is my new favourite base. It is super cheap and the eyeshadow last the whole day. Also, one container has 10 ml.

Douglas Lipstick (was in my Advent calendar) is a mauve rosy lipstick. I like to tap this onto my lips as an everyday lipstick.

Manhattan Eyeliner Pencil in Black is a waterproof liner so that the line stays on the whole day. I like black liner more than brown one, because it brightens up my eye colour.

L'Ôréal Superfine Eyeliner is the most precise eyeliner I have ever used. I was totally in this black winged liner look this month, so this was my holy product.

REWE Coconut Body Butter is a super cheap cosmetic brand from a grocery store. However, this body butter is so rich and smells absolutely amazing! My skin is extremely smooth afterwards and it contains 400ml.

I hope you liked my bi-monthly favorites. Let me know what your favourite products have been!

January/February Favourites

I have seen this concept in another blog and I really adore it, because as much as I love these monthly favourites blogs, it scares me a little bit of choosing my top products every month. Therefore, I decided doing these Bi-Monthly Favourite Blogs!

The Body Shop Born Lippy Watermelon
This month I didn't want to have a lot of colour on ym lip, nevertheless, I had getting dry lips. Basically, I love all of their Born Lippy, because their give you a slight colour on your lips but not a too heavy colour. Also, I have got the feeling that the libalm moisturizes the skin more than others do.

Essence Colour Multi Blush 20 Fashionista
This blush has a lovely warm pink shade, but it is not that high pigmented. One of these colours contain a bit of glitter, so this works as a highlighter and a blush on the same time.

KIKO Eyeshadow No. 169
I know that some of might have problems to get KIKO products, but I can not stress out how much I love this eyehadow. It is a matt white eyeshadow, highly pigmented and just absolutely adorable! I wore this nearly every single day as a highlighter in the inner corner. The funny thing is that the eyeshadow even looks good when you have a shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid.

Maybelline Eyeshadow
This eyeshadow is so old and I never used it (I even don't know the name/number), but I rediscovered this eyeshadow after probably 7 years :D The really exciting thing is that I wore this eyeshadow as a contour/blush! Because I have quite pale skin in the winter the orange eyeshadow blended in the skin looks like a slight shadow of my face.

P2 Eyeshadow
This is a german brand, but basically this eyeshadow is just a very light shimmery pink colour. I wore a lot of light pink eyeshadow this month just because I thought it makes my eyecolour stand out a little bit more.

L'Oréal Perfect Match Foundation N2 Vanilla
I still test this foundation, but I have to say that I used it a lot this month and until now I really love it. It doesn't has the best coverage, but it doesn't break me out which is kind of the mod important fact for me.

Essence Eyeshadow Quattro  05 To Die For
This is the perfect neutral eyeshadow palette for an everyday look. We all know that Essence doesn't has the best pigmentation, however, these colour, probably because of their sheerness, look sooo beautiful. Their definitely enhance ever eyecolour!

Essence Grey Eyeliner Pencil
Combined with the pink eyeshadow or with the essence quad I used a grey eyeliner pencil and smudged it in the shape I wanted to have in order to give my eye a little bit of definition without being to harsh.

In conclusion, it appears that I used a lot of Essence products this months without noticing it specifically. I will definitely post a review of some of these products as I find them absolutely outstanding!

What do you think about this new concept and please let me know: what is your favourite product of this month?
