My MAC Wish List

Hey everybody!

MAC Products are raved as being really good make up products, however, they happened to raise their prices every year which is one reason why I didn't buy so many products from them. I know that their eyeshadows, blushes and lipsticks seem to be amazing, so I thought that I as a makeup addict should invest in some MAC products in the next year. Thus, this is my MAC wish list which isn't that long because I really want to concentrate myself on the products that I really want and were hardly any dupes exists. For example, I really like their nude lipsticks but there are some nice nude lipsticks in the drugstore that I like.

My wish list:

Face
Studio Finish Concealer with SPF 35
Not only the SPF 35 but also the coverage is told to be amazing. This full coverage concealer, which would be adjusted to my skin colour, would be perfect for my dark under eye circles and all my blemishes.

Blush
Well Dressed
Currently I intend to wear really light and natural blushes that are easy to handle and are still visible because of my fair complexion. So I thought this really light rosy blush would be perfect for me.

Pinch O Peach

This is another rather lighter blush which has a hint of peach in it but is still a bit more intense than Well Dressed.

Eyeshadows
Nylon
This appears to be a high-pigmentes highlighting shade for the inner corners that just brightens up every make up.

Patina
This is a unique antique gold, brown, green eyeshadow that I have never found in the drugstore. Therefore, this is a must-have in my wish list.

Naked Lunch
A light highlighting rosy shimmery eyeshadow that is super versatile as a highlighter or all over the eyelid. This eyeshadow is on top of my wish list.

Smut
Smut was created by Kate Moss and is a dark smokey brown. This is great for a dark eye make up because black eyeshadow can look too harsh and this smokey dark brown is perfect for such a smudgy eye makeup.

Lips

Russian Red
As I said before, MAC offers an amazing nude colour range, however, I am searching for something that I can not find in the usual drugstore. Thus, Russian Red would be really interesting because it is THE classic red matte lipstick.

Plushglass - Posh It Up
I have never found such a rosy gold glittery lipgloss in the drugstore, thus, this would be my choice in the lipgloss area of MAC.

So this was my total wish list of MAC. It is not that huge considering the fact that I only own three products from MAC but I try to focus on the really important things.

Bronzed Summer Glowy Makeup Tutorial

Now when summer is starting I was inspired by Blake Lively, so I want to show you how to achieve this beautiful bronzed summer glowy make up!

Blake Lively's makeup is always nicely bronzed, refreshing and on the same time it has an effortless appearance.

Today I am going to show you how to achieve this look:

           

Blake Lively's look is concentrated on highlights in the inner corner. Therefore, we apply MAC's Naked Lunch all over the lid and in your inner eye after applying an eyeshadow base.

Then I used Woodwinked and applied it on the outer half of the lid, also a little bit into my crease. Also, I apply the colour under your eye.

Then use Twinks in your crease to create a little bit more depth into our look and blend everything. Also, bring the colour again under your eye.

Use a black gel eyeliner and draw a very thin line as close to the lash line as possible. Don't wing out at the end.

Run the rest that is left on the brush slightly through your lashes under your eye.

Then curl your lashes, apply mascara and you are ready!

I would combine this look with a tiny bit of bronzer on your cheeks, jaw-line and your temples. Really make sure that you're pressing the bronzer into your hair line so that it looks more natural.

As a blush I love to use my NARS Orgasm as this gives this "Blake gold highlighting look".

The perfect Lipcolour would be a nice pinky lip like the Maybelline Colour Sensational Intense Pink. Add a clear gloss in the middle of your lips so that they appear bigger.

Massive DM + MAC Haul!

I know that I have way to much make up and that I have to stop buying new stuff and just using the things that I own. However, every single time I go to the drugstore I can not resist going to the make up counters. And unfortunately, I always find something that I definitely want to have.

Last week I was in the super drug quiet often, so here is my massive haul where are definitely invested to much money in make up again.

Alverde shine shampoo with lemon blossom and apricot for 1,95€. This is a natural shampoo without any chemicals or silicons. I use it now in order to find out if silicon-free shampoos are different shampoos which contain silicons.

Alverde hair mask with lemon blossom and apricot for 3,30€. This is the matching mask and I am also excited about the results.

Two nail polishes from P2 for 1,55€. The left one is a neon pink colour called 630 passion, the left one is  a bright green called 620 artful.
Catrice 840 Genius in a Bottle is the nail polish in the middle and costs 2,49. This is a dupe to the Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour 531 Peridot.

Balea MED pH adjusted soap-free washing lotion for about 1€. This washing lotion is amazing because you get 400 ml for 1€! I haven't used it yet but I will definitely review this products because I think this price is absolutely amazing!

Balea MED pH adjusted hand cream for 2€. I have to use it a bi longer in order to give you a detailed opinion.

Catrice Wet And Dry Eyeshadow in the colour 030 Vanilla Sky Ride for 3,79. This is the perfect highlighting colour I have ever seen in the drugstore, I have to write a blog post about this.

Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipstick 190 The Nuder The Better for 3,99. An absolute gorgeous nude which I have searched for ages.
Manhattan Soft Mat Lipcream in 54L for 3,95. This is a mixture of a lipgloss and a matt lipstick. I love this product because of this unique consistency.

My new treasures

MAC lipliner in the shade Subculture for 12€. A nice nude, my lips but just better lipliner which I would even wear without a lipstick on top.

MAC lipstick in Blankety for 18€. This lipstick suits to the lipliner. Even though I find this lipstick a bit to ashy, I really love MY FIRST MAC LIPSTICK!

My Autumn Look - MAC Products

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share with you my actual autumn look which I'm wearing quite often:

Guide:

-> I applied my Artdeco Eyeshadow Base (this Base is absolutely amazing!!!)

1. Applied the white colour of the Helena Rubenstein 07 Lucky Gold Palette (http://www.perfumezilla.com/helena-rubinstein/helena-rubinstein-wanted-eyes-lucky-gold6219.php)

2. MAC's Woodwinked all over the lid

3. MAC's Satin Taupe in the crease and down the lid in the typical V-shape

4. MAC's Smut in the very outer part of your eye, really close to the lash line

-> and blend everything really well!

-> apply a brown eyeliner really close to the upper lashline

-> curl your lashes and apply lots of mascara

Mac Harmony - Swatches + Demo

Hey guys!

Some of you asked if I can show you a swatch of my MAC Harmony and what I think about it.

The product looks like this and costs 22€:

Firstly, you have to know that this powder is a contouring powder. This means that you apply it on certain party of your face in order to define it a little. The following picture give you a guide line. Obviously, you have to blend the powder into your natural skin tone really well.

The colour is really matt and has no shimmer. However it is not completely brown, but it is a more medium brown with a red under tone! Blended in the skin, it really adapts to my skin tone.

MAC's Harmony doesn't look so orange/red on the skin. Nevertheless, it has a slight red under tone! You have to apply this contour powder really softly, if you don't want to see the reddish, however you can't define your cheekbones very strong! So, I am not quite sure, if I really like that.

Therefore, I wouldn't recommend applying this powder all over the face, but it's really good for a slightly and nice contoured cheeks!

Sleek Contour Kit - Swatches

Hey guys!!

Wow, have you ever had such an enormous headache that you can't think enough except of: "STOP!!"
Well, actually I have it... Any tips against headaches?

Nevertheless, I wanted to share with you my new achievement :D
It is the Sleek Contour Kit in Medium!

I really love the Contouring side. The colour is high pigmented and blends really well in your skin colour. It doesn't have a red undertone, thus it looks natural, in other words like a normal shadow when you apply under your cheekbones.

However, I don't like the highlighter. It has got just a very sheer shimmer which you can hardly find. Especially when you apply it on your cheeks, the highlighter seems to disappear. It just works, when you apply it as a highlight under your eyebrows like a normal light eyeshadow.

What I really like is that Sleek included an introduction how to apply these two colours on your face. I think this is a really cute idea, especially if you are a beginner in make up.

I can just recommend this product. This contour colour turned out to be my fav one!! This means, I love it more than MAC Harmony ;)

I can't believe it!!!

Gana highlighter powder

Hey guys!!!!

I really can't believe it!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! AAAAWWW!!!

I really bought my FIRST MAC products! It was completely spontaneous, which felt unbelievable great, cause I normally I don't do anything spontaneous... Nevertheless, I went into the shop, while I was shopping for a long time, and my friend wanted to have a nude lipstick. We searched in every single drugstore and cheap products in the cosmetic departments, but there wasn't the right tone anywhere. Suddenly she asked: "Do you know where I can buy MAC?" What for a question! It's obvious that I know where you can buy any

cosmetics!!! Instead of going to an ordinary cosmetic shop, we went to the MAC shop, cause there are real makeup-artist who really helps you!

I have seen the shop quite a few times and have always imagined how it would feel to stand in it. Suddenly I was in... woowww!!! I was feeling... indescribable... numb... I heard my heartbeat...

My friend stood in front of this huge amount of colours... I would choose every single lipstick but when you're there with friends, personally I'm more reserved with buying tons of makeup :D Then, I saw the products which I've searched for a year and the other one for half a year! I have even bought the best drugstore products, but they weren't like this!

MAC Harmony powder

The contouring-powder "Harmony" -> is a very famous one and:

# matte, no shimmer

# no red/orange/yellow tone

# brown for 100%

# perfect to blend into the cheeks

# natural looking

Mickey Contractor's Gana highlighter powder:

# gives a perfect glow, shimmery

# natural

# suitable for daily use

# light yellow, softer undertone (not icy or frosten)

I know from me that I 've always thought, well you don't need MAC. And you don't need it for lipsticks or lipglosses, powder, bronzer or some eyeshadows!!!! However, when you search for a natural contouring powder or a cream blush (want to have one!!) or an highlighter which works with the first use then you can't find something better than this. Both cost 22€ which isn't much more expensive than regular drugstore products and nevertheless, it looks natural!!!
