Get The Look: Bohemian Chic Style

The Bohemian style is often described as being laid-back, a bit hipster and often not really suitable for a sophisticated night out. However, Nicole Richie shows us that the classic Bohemian style can easily transformed into a bohemian chic evening look just by adding a few details. Today I want to show you on one outfit how can achieve this look.

Nicole Richie's combination of yellow and black looks so lovely and refreshing. Of course, this look can be a bit too cold for some of you in September, but you can just add a normal black jeans or a black waxed trousers. I think, this transformation is really beautiful as I love the bohemian style so much and with this it becomes more wearable even in the evening.

Get The Look: Bohemian Maxi Dress Summer Look

I love maxi dresses! They are perfect for a casual summer oufit, easy to way and still look super stylish with a little bohemian touch. Unfortunately not a lot of people wear maxi dresses in the area where I live, but I think this outfit looks perfect on a hot summer day. Also the dresses have arrived on the red carpets as you can see on the picture above. If you want to know how I style my Bohemian Summer Look, then keep on reading.

For this look I was inspired by Nicole Richie as she appears to be queen of the Bohemian Style. I chose  clothes and accessories with warm colours and also the accessories are made out of wood or dusty metal instead of brilliant silver jewelry.

Get The Look: Edgy Chic Style

I am back from Munich after a nice but short holiday with new energy. Also, my exams are over so I have more or less a bit more time to blog which I definitely want to do.

To start this new phase I want to present you a new post of my "Get The Look" series. The concept of this series is that I show you a fashion or a make up look that is inspired by a celebrity or just by street fashion.

I don't want to show you the EXACT clothes, I just want to give you an inspiration, so that you can look up in your clothed and find similar clothes.

Thus, this doesn't mean that you have to buy the clothes that I present you!

This is an edgy chic look that combines edgy elements like the leather jacket and the studs on the skirt with an elegant black heel. The clutch is the perfect mixture of edgy and elegant because of the leather and the elegant black-white combination.

The white plane top balances the eye-catcher on the bottom which is the studded skirt. Also, the white element on the top suits perfectly to the white strips on the clutch.

This outfit is perfect for clubbing or a cool party. When I created this look I thought of Kate Moss, thus, this outfit would suit perfectly into the nightlife of London.

I want to start a new series which is called "Get The Look". In this post I want to show you really quickly how to achieve a certain make up or fashion look by just presenting the products. I think this is really useful to get a nice and quick overview especially in fashion looks. However, I think I am still going to do my traditional make up tutorials when I want to show you more complicated looks.

So I wanted to start this series with the beautiful Scarlett Johansson at the Met-Gala in New York on the 7th of May. She wears really simple, neutral eyes and balances them out with a lovely bright coral lip. I really love this makeup because it is natural but in the same time really glamourous.
