My Favourite Websites - Perfect for Avoiding to Study

Hello everyone!

How do you do? Well, I am studying, studying and studying. I can't see all my folders, learning scripts and exercises anymore and when I need a little bit of free time in order to interrupt my learning sessions, I find myself browsing the internet. So I thought I might show you my favourite websites, but pay attention, you really easily forget the time when you are checking all these amazing sites. :)

Fitness

Daily Hiit (Link)
The old Bodyrock.tv renamed itself and now is called "Daily Hiit". I check this website daily as I do mostly all their workouts. The whole website is completely different to the old one, so it took a while to get used to the new layout, but that doesn't change the quality of the workouts they are posting. I would even say that they are even more intense and I can definitely see changes on my body.

Zuzka Light (Link)
The co-founder of Bodyrock.tv started her own website with extremely hard, short and amazing workouts. I have to admit, I even like them more than the Bodyrock ones.

Sarah Fit (Link)
I like Sarah because she is totally fit, but still has a healthy weight. I really like her diet advice and food recommendations.

Tone it up (Link)
The two girls are really sympathetic and represent the typical California girls. I check the site recipes, food hauls and motivation, not because of their workouts.

Food

Skinny taste (Link)
This is a site created by a mother who cooks healthy recipes for every occasion from dinner, breakfast, lunch to delicious desserts.

I breathe... I'm hungry... (Link)
This website has the same concept like skinny taste. I have already made some of the recipes and they are really delicious.

Chocolate covered Katie (Link)
Katie gives healthy alternatives for sweet desserts so that you don't have to give up all these desserts.

Dashing Dish (Link)
This is the last, but also least favourite cooking site. I love all her recipes and they look so amazing, but I do not like that you have to be an exclusive member to be able to see everything.

Home Inspirations

Apartment therapy (Link)
This is a really professional site that gives informative advice for decorating and designing your new home, doing DIYs and before/after comparisons.

The inspired room (Link)
This is a wonderful website with lots of inspirational pictures, designs and decoration ideas. I am going to move to my first own flat, so this really helps me finding the style I like.

Live Love DIY (Link)
Normally I am not the DIY person, but I love this website as the design of this whole house is so inspirational and definitely represents my style.

Photography

fotocommunity (Link)
This is for all your photography fans even though this is a German website! This community offers an incredible pool of photography and one can find amazing photos there.

Fun

Law School Fun
And lastly, for anyone who is studying law and wants to throw all the learning stuff out of the window, this is the perfect site for you! This is another site in German, but so incredibly funny!!!

So these were my favourite websites. I know, these are a lot, but I had way to much time browsing through the internet during the last couple of days. I should definitely start learning more intense :) So I hope you are having a great day and you don't have to study that much. Have fun with the websites and tell me what are your favourite websites?

Have a wonderful day! Love,

Clinique Chubby Stick 10 bountiful blush - Review & Swatches

Hello everybody!
Because of my sister's birthday and my recommendation, my mum purchased the Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balsam in a beautiful bright red colour and surprisingly also bought one for me. As bright red is not my colour, she chose the shade 10 bountiful blush, a beautiful rosewood, red natural lip colour. I have to admit that I don't own a lot of high-end, so I was extremely excited testing the quality of such an expensive product.

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balsam
Price: 16$ / 20€
available in 16 other shades

Description
"Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm is a lip treatment with sheer colour that relieves dry, cracked lips and provides immediate moisturisation. The unique pencil-style applicator provides easy to apply sheer soft lip colour and rolls up for ease of use. Super-nourishing balm is loaded with mango and shea butters."

Consistency: Balsam, Sheer
Benefits: Moisturizing, Long-lasting

Swatches

Even though Clinique describes the Chubby Stick as being sheer, it is actually the perfect colour pay-off for being natural but still noticeable. The chubby stick is indeed really moisturizing, it feels incredibly smooth on your lips and can not be compared to the regular Labello moisturizer. The chubby stick is also really long-lasting, consequently I would say that the chubby stick is definitely worth its price. I hardly ever wear bold lipstick, so this is the perfect product for me.

I hope you liked this post and comment below what do you think about the chubby sticks.

Wish you a wonderful day! Lots of love,

The Easiest Way To Choose The Right Job For You

A lot of teenagers struggle with the huge question: what am I going to do after my school degree? What am I going to study? There exist a lot of methods how to find the right job for oneself, but here is the easiest way how to find the right job for you!

I had the same problem like probably every teenager has got. I didn't know what I wanted to do in my future and even very closely before my school degree I had no plan what to do or what to study. Researches in the Internet and all my friends and family told me that I have to do something where I have fun. Then other specialists said that I had to do something with my hobbies and again other people said that I have to focus on my strengths.

"Some start to connect their future perspectives to much with the subjects that are required in school"
However, I think the problem is that this, I call it now, "future-stress" is really intensified by school. I know that they want to help the students and what to take the fears away, but some start to connect their future perspectives to much with the subjects that are required in school and automatically go into a certain branch like biology, chemistry etc. This is a good think if you are really interested in one of these subjects, however, it should taken into consideration that there also exist other subjects that are not required in school and so you can have skills which you haven't recognized yet.

Also, it is nearly impossible to find a job where you will have fun when you even don't know all jobs and often don't have a clue what they are doing the whole day. Thus, I realised that there exist just one way to find the right job. Of course, you have to thing about what you like and you also can not study maths when you had terrible marks in maths, but basically, this helped me to find my "dream job".

Do an internship and just start studying the subject!
This sounds so easy and it really is! When I did my first internship, I just thought it would be good for my CV, but in fact, you really get to know a certain job. However, in order to find out whether a job really suit to you, you have to test it practically. And if you don't have the opportunity for that during an internship, then just start studying your preferred subject!

Finding your right job is like finding a good make up product!
You will never know whether this product works for you unless you tested it and then you can build your own opinion on this. The same thing works with your job. You will never know whether this is the right job for you unless you tested it. When you find out that you don't like your current subject, then you still have time to change it, but you will never blame yourself for not trying out your desired job when you are old.

I hope this was helpful! What is your dream job and how did you find this?

Wish you a wonderful day!
Lot of Love,

Red Jeans In School - Outfit

When the temperature is getting colder and the sun hours are decreasing, it is time to wear your bright and colourful jeans again. So if you want to know how my outfit looked like, then keep on reading!

My Celebrity Fashion Inspirations

Hello guys!
Actually I wanted to do a workout and was even doing my first exercise when I decided that I was definitely not in the mood doing it. That hardly ever happens and when it happens, then I still work myself through the workout, but today I literally couldn't! So I thought, what a better way to fill up the free time then by writing a few posts for you also when we consider that the next exam phase is coming. Thus, today I wanted to show you today my fashion celebrity inspirations. I also really like looking at LOOKBOOK.nu and general street style, but celebrities are great for getting an inspiration too.
Kate Middleton
I love Kate Middelton's style because she shows that you can look elegant, sophisticated and royal even though you don't invest a ton of money into your clothes. Of course, she also wears luxury dresses, but she often wears normal clothes e.g. from Zara. Her style is so feminine, elegant but not too old.
 Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba is my personal fashion queen for my casual look. I almost have the same casual fashion style like she has got. Simple, feminine, but still with eye-catchers.
Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston is another celebrity who shows that you don't have to try to hard to look good. With her casual, but beautiful summer outfits and the more edgy winter style, she is a real inspiration for me.
Pipa Middleton
I don't like her make-up and face at all, but her style is as posh and stylish as Kate's. However, she isn't that much in the royal focus as Kate is, thus, she can wear more bold, also sexy outfits.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Even though I don't have her figure, I love her style. She really knows how to enhance her features which she shows in her inspiring casual outfits. I absolutely love the jeans/trousers - blazer combo. It just always looks chic.
Miranda Kerr
Miranda always dresses really womanly chic. Either with a skirt or a dress or a jeans/trousers with a blouse. I love her style eventhough I probably wouldn't wear it as an everyday look, but seriously, her look and her beauty is always breathtaking.

So these were my celebrity fashion inspirations. I hope you liked this post and tell me who inspires you?

Wish you a wonderful day! Lots of love,

My Famous Thai Lemon Red Chicken Curry!

Hello everybody!

Yesterday I cooked dinner for my whole family and that can be quite tricky because every one has got other preferences or food that he absolutely hates. However, I cooked an incredible delicious Thai Lemon Red Chicken Curry that is a light and healthy dinner because of all the vegetables. And even though this recipe contains so many veggies, the men ate it because it was so super tasty :) Of course, the choice of vegetable is variable, I just add the ones that my family likes, so let's get started.

Ingredients for 4 portions:

600 g
turkey breast, cutted into strips
1-2 large
garlic gloves, finely chopped
1 piece (3 cm, 1 inch)
ginger
½
lemon, juice and skin
2 tsp
soy sauce
2 tsp
Sambal Oelek
4 tbsp
vegetable stock
2
1 tin (400g)
courgettes
chinese vegetables
cayenne pepper
oil

Instruction:

1. Chop all the vegetables in small pieces. Here I quartered two courgettes.
2. Wash and drain the asian vegetables.
3. Chop approx. 3 cm / 1 inch of ginger into really small pieces. Add two garlic gloves and press them through a garlic press. You can also go for one garlic glove and a few spring onions.
4. Chop 600g of turkey breast into strips.

5. Heat the wok with some oil. Fry the chicken until it is well done and season with salt and pepper.
6. Add all the vegetables, the garlic and ginger and fry everything for another minute.
7. Now there comes my favourite part - the sauce. I do most of it based on my feelings but add about 2 tsp of soy sauce, 2 tsp of sambal oelek, 4 tbsp of vegetable stock and the juice and skin of half of an lemon. For the extra spice you can add a bit of cayenne pepper. Steam it at medium head for 10 minutes.

And then you are done. I served it with some basic white rice, but can also go for brown rice or wild rice. It was super delicious, because it had the perfect intensity of spice and some depth and variety in its  flavours with the lemon, the ginger and the sambal oelek. All family members really liked this meal and the whole process took me maybe 30 minutes.

So I hope you liked this recipe and hope that you will try this. Let me know whether you like Asian food!

Wish you a wonderful day! Love,

Fitness Haul! - Nike, Adidas, H&M & NorthFace

With this fitness haul my current fitness kick has definitely reached its peak point. I personally tend to invest my money more on expensive trousers or bras instead of tops, because I usually wear my old t-shirts for sport. If you want to know what I bought then keep on reading.

Okay, this item is not really sporty, but I thought it might interest you as well. This is a super light, green rain coat by North Face which was in the sale for only 79€.

Here are my favourite items! These are sport bras and believe it or not I haven't worn any sport bra before, because nobody forced me to buy one. I don't have a huge breast, but support is always important, therefore, you have to have a sport bra!
The left pink one is from Adidas and is called the Supernova Racer Bra and costs 49€. This bra is absolutely amazing, super tight and is so colorful that you can wear it without a top on top. The right black one is from Nike and is also really tight.

Then I found a really bright pink running shorts by Nike too. I prefer to do sport in shorts because I feel more flexible. I think they were about 29€.

Then I have another black shorts by Nike for 29€. They are not the same type, because here the sides are not rounded.

Then I found a coral t-shirt by Nike with a golden sign on top. I was in the sale for 30€. Normally I wouldn't buy this t-shirt, but I was kind of in the mood of investing the money in this t-shrt only for this time.

Then I walked to H&M in order to buy some ordinary tops. I bought a black and pink one and the white one is a bit looser and sheer, so that you have to throw it on top of another top.

The last thing that I bought were some neon shorts by H&M. I am not sure whether I am really going to use them for sport or just as pajamas. They are with 5€ or right now in the sale with 3€ super cheap.

This was my fitness haul. I hope you liked this and tell me what you wear while doing sport?

Wish you a wonderful day!

Book Review: Unbearable Lightness by Portia de Rossie

Portia de Rossi, actor and Ellen DeGeneres' wife, wrote a book about her memories concerning her eating disorder. Because of being touched by her story and being surprised about her writing skills, I thought it might be interesting for you hearing my thoughts about this book. Anorexia nervosa is a dangerous trend in our society because more and more people suffer from it in our society. So if you are interested in getting to know a realistic view of anorexia, then keep on reading.

Favourite Apps: Calorie Counter - ShapeUp Club

In order to become a bit more lean and toned and to get my calorie income under control, I searched for a nice and handy app. After testing DietDiary, which was not really my cup of tea, I found the calorie counter by Shape Up Club. Shape Up Club is a food and exercise diary for Android which helps you to lose weight or to maintain your current weight.

How it works
✓ Personalized weight plan
✓ Set individual weight & nutrition goals
✓ Barcode scanner
✓ Ability to customize everything (such as daily calories & nutritional information)
✓ Track calories, nutrients, fruit & water
✓ Food database with 400 000+ items
✓ Track body measurements (waist, body fat, hips, arms etc.)
✓ Visible progress from charts
✓ Write daily comments
✓ ShapeUp Club is free and without ads
✓ Works without an Internet connection
✓ Complete backup and sync with website, ShapeUpClub.com
✓ Health Graph integration
✓ RunKeeper integration & Withings scale integration
Conclusion
I like this app because it shows you how much you can still eat at the end of the day and it really helped me to lose weight. I also had the experience that when I know that I have to add everything that I eat to this app, I start to eat less just because I am to lazy :) I like the different food choices, the topic with morning and afternoon snack and the fact that it shows you the fat, protein and carbohydrate  values. However, any additional services can only be done with a subscription to the ShapeUp Club which costs money. And let's say 40% of the options of this app have to be payed. Nevertheless, I will continue using it and can recommend it to anyone who still struggles with his daily income or doesn't want to calculate ever single calorie in his head anymore.
Have you ever tried any calorie counter app?
Wish you a wonderful day!

DM Make-up Haul, Swatches & Little Reviews

Hey guys!

How are you?
It has actually been a really long time since I have been taking photos, editing them, writing and posting a blogpost right away. I have been learning for my final exams during the last weeks and today I forced myself to take a break and do something that I really enjoy which is blogging. So I thought you might be interested in knowing which products I purchased yesterday in my local drug store. These are actually the products that I am going to use for my everyday make-up routine.

I have never had an everyday make-up routine, but recently, because of the stress, I crapped for almost the same products every day, so that finally, I am ready to show you my everyday make-up routine in my future posts ;)

The Haul

I bought the new Catrice Longlasting Eye Pencil in 050 Brown Town Girl from the new product range which claims to be waterproof. The pencil includes a sharper at the end.
Catrice Eye Pencil - Swatch
Because of the small pencil, one can draw a really thin, precise and subtile line along the lash line. It is a really dark brown colour that stayed on really well even after my professional rubbing test.

Another Catrice product is the cream lip and cheek colour from the current Neo Geisha LE available from January to March 2013. The shade is the lightest one in 01 Discreet Artist.
Swatch in different lights
It is a soft, pale pink colour that would look great on pale skin. The colour pay-off is not comparable with the Maybelline cream blushes, however, this would be perfect for make-up beginners who are still afraid of blush and struggle with handling the colour pay-off.The colour looks like a pale pink on the lips, but I think you can do that with every cream blush.
L'oréal lipstick (colour on photo is not true to original)
I think the L'oréal Lipstick Rouge Caresse in 120 Mauve Cherie is also new in their product range and because L'oréal is so expensive here, this purchase was definitely made by this luxury packaging.

I would have never purchased the P2 Heavenly lip mousse if a youtube hadn't recommended it to me because the packaging wasn't that attractive to me. I chose the shade 050 sweet time pleasure.
Swatches - L'oréal lipstick (left) and P2 Heavenly Lip mousse (right)
The L'oréal lipstick is really smooth and even though it has a sheer texture, it lasts on the lips for several hours. It is a beautiful mauve pink colour which is great for every day, however, surprisingly, the lipststick dried out my lips a tiny bit during the really old winter days.

The P2 lip mousse has, as the name says, a mousse texture, but that doesn't make it uncomfortable on the lips. The colour is a bit lighter than the L'oréal lipstick, but still a beautiful dusty pink colour which looks really flattering and great with nearly every eye make-up. The lasting is really great! I applied it in the morning and the colour was still visible around lunch time even after drinking.

So this was my latest haul. I hope you liked this really up-to-date post with the little reviews and all the swatches as much as I enjoyed writing it for you! Let me know what you bought the last couple of weeks and what do you think about the new products in the make-up brands?

Wish you a wonderful sunday! Love,
