Catrice Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Today I want to give you a little review of my latest purchase, the Catrice Absolute Nude Palette, which was just released in February this year. They call this shade 010 All Nude IN THE MOOD FOR NUDE even though there only exists one shade. I was super excited to try out this product, thus, I want to share with you my impression and also some swatches. Six nude shades in one palette: subtle sand, delicate beige and brown in various facets. Some matt, some with a shimmer. The soft eye shadow texture with high pigmentation and colour dispersion creates natural-looking eye make-up, yet is also ideal for smokey eye styles in the evening. With a practical double-ended applicator.

Conclusion

In total, I like this palette very much as I usually use neutral colours and hardly pick out colourful ones. I think, this is a great palette if you don't want to buy a ton of different eyeshadows especially when you are starting with make-up. Also, this little palette might be really handy while traveling, however, the last eyeshadow could be a bit darker so that one could great a nice smokey eye too.

Max Factor Soft Resistant Make Up Review & Swatch

Wie geht es Euch? Ich genieße gerade den Abend auf meinem Sofa mit Germany's Next Topmodel, da dachte ich mir, dass ich Euch eine kleine Review zu dem Max Factor Soft Resistant Make Up geben kann. Ich habe das Make Up auch schon vor einer sehr langen Zeit, bestimmt vor einem halbem Jahr, gekauft, nur kam ich wieder wegen dem ganzem Klausurenstress nicht dazu eine fundierte Review zu verfassen. Also hier ist nun endlich meine Meinung zu der Foundation.

Meine Meinung

An der Foundation an sich mit ihrer Formulierung gibt es wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Mit einer starken Deckkraft, der ölfreien und langanhaltenden Textur und dem schönem Hautbild selbst bei öliger Haut, entspricht das Make up genau meinen Bedürfnissen. Jedoch ist die Farbe 1 light für mich zu rosastichig, vor allem nach dem es nachgedunkelt ist, ist ein klarer Unterschied zur normalen Gesichtsfarbe zu erkennen. Ich denke jedoch, dass das eher ein Problem meines Hauttons ist und eventuell ein Hautton dunkler für mich passender wäre. Daher kann ich das Produkt empfehlen solange man seine Farbe für den Hautton findet.

Ich hoffe die Review war ein wenig hilfreich. Habt ihr die Foundation schon ausprobiert oder hattet ihr auch schon Foundations, die zu Hause plötzlich den völlig falschen Unterton hatten? Es ist wirklich ärgerlich, wenn man schon viel Geld ausgibt und dann das Make up nicht perfekt passt, aber ich denke, dass ich es noch aufbrauchen werde.

NYX Caviar & Bubbles - Review & Swatches

After starting to create ore dramatic eye make up looks again, I discovered my NYX 10 Colour Eyeshadow Palette in the colour Caviar & Bubbles again, which was originally named Champagne & Caviar. As I am so thrilled about this palette and really enjoyed using it, I want to give you a review and show you some swatches.

The palette comes in a sleek, small black packaging with a sponge applicator that I don't find of much use as I only use brushes for applying my eyeshadows. The packaging also includes a large mirror and looks elegant, in general.

As you might can tell from the positive side, I am totally impressed of the product and would totally recommend it to everyone. The good quality and the perfect colour combination for this low price is insane and comparable to the Urban Decay Naked Palette. So everyone who is searching for a cheaper version, a dupe for the UD Naked Palette can go for this one!

P2 Sunset Boulevard - Review & Swatches

I hope you are doing well!

Today I want to review a lipstick that I own for a very long time, but never really appreciated it. It is the P2 Pure Color Lipstick - Sunset Boulevard which is a cheap German drugstore brand as this lipstick only costs 1,95€. Anna Saccone mentioned this lipstick in one of her latest favourite videos and I remembered that I own this lipstick too. So I pulled it out of my drawer, started using it properly for the first time and I really liked this lipstick. I can'r really understand why I haven't used it that often.

The pure color lipstick provides for intensive colour. Despite its very light formulation, the lipstick is long-lasting and offers an intensive colour-payoff. The optimal acutance prevents the lipstick from creasing on wrinkles at the lips. Hyaluronic acid provides for intensive care.

As much as I love the colour and really enjoyed wearing this lipstick with a lot of blush on my cheeks and only mascara on my eyes, the formulation is not the best. I don't mind the creamy consistency, but you have to check yourself in the mirror as the lipstick creases on the inner side of your lips and that looks really disgusting. So, I would prefer a stickier version of this lipstick, however, if you like the colour and don't mind checking yourself a bit more often in the mirror, then you can buy it.

Vor sehr langer Zeit irgendwann im Oktober habe ich mir die Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Ultimate Repair Anti-Schaden-Kur gekauft und habe es bisher trotz einiger Anfragen noch nicht geschafft eine Review über das Produkt zu verfassen. Erst befand ich mich in der Testphase und dann im Klausurenstress, daher hoffe ich, dass ihr mir die sehr verspätete Review verzeihen könnt. Aber legen wir doch gleich los.

Die ULTIMATE REPAIR ANTI-SCHADEN-KUR pflegt sehr geschädigtes und trockenes Haar und verleiht ihm neue Widerstandskraft - bereits nach 1 Minute Anwendung. Die spezielle Formel mit 3x flüssigen Haarbausteinen repariert Haarschäden zielgenau und füllt Risse wieder auf. Die Haarstruktur wird wieder aufgebaut und Haarbruch um bis zu 95% reduziert.

Anwendung

• Nach der Haarwäsche sanft ins feuchte Haar einmassieren und 1 Minute einwirken lassen.
• Sorgfältig ausspülen!
• 2-3-mal wöchentlich anwenden.

Ergiebigkeit

Sehr ergiebig! Wie man oben auf dem Bild erkennen kann, habe ich vielleicht nur ein Achtel des ganzen Produktes benutzt, jedoch benutze ich es auch nur einmal die Woche und nicht 2-3mal. Ich verteile es ab Kinnlänge abwärts und benötige trotz sehr dickem Haar nur eine ca. 2€ Stück Menge für jede Seite.

klassische "Haarkurkonsistenz"

Meine Meinung

Meiner Meinung nach ist dies die beste Haarkur, die ich bisher in der Drogerie gefunden habe. Sie ist selbstverständlich nicht zu ersetzen mit einem Friseurbesuch, dennoch war mein Haar eindeutig geschmeidiger und glanzvoll nach jeder Anwendung. Außerdem blieb dieser Effekt über mehrere Tage bestehen und verschwand nicht nach einigen Stunden wie ich es schon bei anderen Haarkuren erlebt habe. Insgesamt konnte ich sehen, dass meine sehr trockenen Spitzen durch die Kur weniger splissanfällig waren, bis in die Spitzen mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt wurden und daher das Gesamtbild meiner Haare verbessert werden konnte. Da der Hersteller empfiehlt es 2-3mal wöchentlich zu benutzen, könnte man sogar noch ein besseres Ergebnis erwarten, daher ist dieses Produkt eine volle Kaufempfehlung!

Because of my sister's birthday and my recommendation, my mum purchased the Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balsam in a beautiful bright red colour and surprisingly also bought one for me. As bright red is not my colour, she chose the shade 10 bountiful blush, a beautiful rosewood, red natural lip colour. I have to admit that I don't own a lot of high-end, so I was extremely excited testing the quality of such an expensive product.

Even though Clinique describes the Chubby Stick as being sheer, it is actually the perfect colour pay-off for being natural but still noticeable. The chubby stick is indeed really moisturizing, it feels incredibly smooth on your lips and can not be compared to the regular Labello moisturizer. The chubby stick is also really long-lasting, consequently I would say that the chubby stick is definitely worth its price. I hardly ever wear bold lipstick, so this is the perfect product for me.

Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Shine Control Moisturizer

After a long long time I finally did a review again. I wanted to do a review of this Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Shine Control Moisturizer since summer, but never found the time and passion to fulfil it. So here we go.

Price: can't remember between 7-9€

Content: 40ml

Durability: 12 months

Garnier promises: 

"Even oily skin that’s prone to problems needs to be kept hydrated. Garnier developed a unique formula using carefully selected natural ingredients: white clay and zinc to matify skin, and salicylic acid for purifying power. The result is an ultra-efficient matte-finish moisturizer that leaves skin looking healthy and clean."

Smell, Consistency & Colour

 

The consistency is like a normal moisturizer. The moisturizer is water based so it is a really light cream and thus, perfect for combination to oily skin. The cream is white and the cream has not a strong specific smell. It smells a tiny bit "green" which has probably something to do with Pure Naturals line by Garnier.

I have got quiet oily skin especially during the summer and I literally just needed a fingertip of product. I will probably need more in the winter, nevertheless I am really impressed of the mattifying effect of this cream. Seriously, one minute after the application your whole skin is matt without feeling dry or not moisturized at all. 

Conclusion

This moisturizer is amazing. I think it is created as a morning moisturizer because if the mattifying effect, however, I actually use it as a night moisturizer. I think with oily skin you don't need a lot of moisturizer even in the night and a too thick moisturizer can cause pimples. The cream doesn't has a miracle effect on my blemishes, however, it does prevent from producing more of these. Thus, I can totally recommend this if you are searching for a great moisturizer for combination to oily skin.

Review: Alverde Feuchtigkeitsshampoo

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Review über das Alverde Feuchtigkeitsshampoo mit Aloe Vera und Hibiskus geben, welches ich vor ca. drei Monaten bei DM gekauft habe und daher jetzt mich dazu bereit fühle eine sachkundige Beurteilung zu liefern. Das Produkt kostet 1,96€, enthält 200 ml und ist 2,5 Jahre haltbar.

Verpackung

Das Produkt befindet sich in einer eher rechteckigen weißen Verpackung, die jedoch abgerundete Ecken hat. Die Öffnung ist aus rosa Plastik und schließt gut. Insgesamt wirkt das Design sehr weiblich und frisch.

Herstellerversprechen

"Pflegt und regeneriert auf natürliche Weise die strapazierte Haaroberfläche, ohne dabei das Haar zu beschweren und versorgt es nachhaltig mit Feuchtigkeit. Pflanzliche Wirksubstanzen kräftigen das Haar bis in die Spitzen und geben ein schönes, lockeres und geschmeidiges Haargefühl."

Farbe & Konsistenz

Das Shampoo ist durchsichtig und ist recht flüssig, jedoch noch nicht wässrig.

Geruch

Ich weiß nicht wie weder Hibiskus und Aloe Vera riechen, noch weiß ich wie sie in Kombination zueinander riechen. Mich erinnert der Duft eher an Mandel mit etwas Frucht.

Anwendung

Das Produkt wird wie ein übliches Shampoo in das feuchte Haar einmassiert und danach ausgespült. Nur schäumt das Shampoo kaum und lässt sich schlecht verteilen, daher benötigt man viel mehr Produkt als üblich. So benötigte ich für eine Haarwäsche zwei volle Hände. Außerdem fühlen sich die Haare nach der Wäsche nicht sauber an.

Fazit

Obwohl ich von dem Alverde Glanz Shampoo, worüber ich hier eine Review gemacht habe, begeistre war und auf Grund dessen mir dieses Shampoo gekauft habe, ist dieses eine völlige Enttäuschung. Mein schon vorher vorhandenes Problem mit der schwierigen Verteilung im Haar, den damit verbundenen Produktverschleiß und die fehlende Schaumbildung ist hier noch deutlicher vorhanden. Es beseitigt das Fett in meinen Haaren überhaupt nicht, daher könnte ich das Haare waschen mit diesem Produkt gleich ganz sein lassen. Das kann auch nicht mehr der Preis gut machen!

Catrice Lipstick Shy Flamingo - Review & Swatches

Der Catrice Ultimate Shine Lippenstift in der Farbe 110 Shy Flamingo ist mit 3,99€ einer der preisgünstigeren Lippenstifte. In der Ultimate Shine Reihe von Catrice sind insgesamt 16 verschiedene Farben aufzufinden.

 

Verpackung

Der Lippenstift ist in einer schlichten, jedoch dadurch sehr elegant wirkenden Verpackung gehalten. Die Verpackung ist Silber verspiegelt, der Deckel schließt sehr gut und das Markenzeichen ist sehr dezent am Deckelrand eingraviert.

Herstellerversprechen

"Natürlich und verführerisch zugleich: Die geschmeidig cremige Textur mit mittlerer Deckkraft verschmilzt förmlich mit den Lippen, spendet intensive Feuchtigkeit, pflegt und verführt mit ultimativem Glanz."

Konsistenz

Der Lippenstift hat eine feste Konsistenz, wobei die Glitzerpartikel auf den Lippen spürbar sind.

Farbe

Shy Flamingo ist ein sehr schönes, intensives Korallrot mit leichtem silbernen Glitzer. 

Haltbarkeit

Da der Lippenstift fester ist und keine cremige Konsistenz hat, verzieht er sich nicht und die Lippenfältchen oder Mundinnenwinkel. Essen und Trinken hält der Lippenstift jedoch nicht stand. Er hält jedoch alleine bis zu 5 Stunden.

Positiv

Der Lippenstift hat eine sehr intensive Farbe, die sich dennoch durch Auftupfen auf den Lippen verringern lässt. Das Korallerot ist genau zwischen zu rot und zu orange, des weiteren ist der Preis unschlagbar. Außerdem bleibt der Lippenstift dort, wo man ihn aufgetragen kann und das Design ist sehr ansprechend.

Negativ

Obwohl die Serie "Ultimate Shine" heißt, hätte ich mir den Glitzer weniger grobkörnig gewünscht. Zum einen ist der Glitzer auf den Lippen im Alltag ein wenig zu auffällig und zum anderen erinnert das Lippengefühl eher an sehr kleine Sandkörner auf den Lippen, daher fühlen sich die Lippen trockener an, obwohl sie dies nicht sind.

Fazit

Shy Flamingo ist DER Sommerlippenstift! Er hat eine wunderschöne Farbe, die perfekt zu einem gebräuntem Teint und milden Sommernächten passt. Auch der Glitzer erscheint bei der intensiven Sonne im Sommer weniger auffällig, sondern verleiht dem Gesicht noch den extra Touch. Jedoch muss man bevor man den Lippenstift aufträgt unbedingt eine Lippenpflege benutzen. So vermeidet man das grobkörnige Gefühl des Glitzers auf den Lippen und das "Schein Trockenheitsgefühl" der Lippen.
