Chickpea Feta Salad

Hello guys!

How are you? I try to keep up a healthy diet, however, during the last days I happened to have a few cheat meals. Thus, I thought it would be a great idea to soften my guilty feelings by preparing a healthy chickpea feta salad with bell pepper and lemon grass. This is a great protein and carb source based on legumes. So let's have a look:

Chickpea Feta Salad
makes 2 big servings

■ 250g chickpeas
■ 1 bell pepper
■ 200g feta
■ dressing: lemon grass, pepper, salt, oil, balsamico, herbs

This salad can be prepared incredibly fast, so there is no excuse why you shouldn't eat healthy after a stressful working day. I really like the taste between the chickpeas in combination with the feta and especially the lemon grass. I am currently really in love with lemon grass!

I hope you liked this recipe. Let me know whether you liked it and tell me whether you also have a favourite food or spice currently?

Wish you a wonderful day!

Tofu Field Salad Recipe

Hello guys!

I hope you are doing well!
As I have promised you, I will share with you a few more recipes as I am living alone now and on top of that, my kitchen has a lot more light than the old one. I am cooking pretty healthy and try to incorporate protein into nearly every single meal. Today I made a delicious Tofu Field Salad. Thus, this recipe is perfect for weight loss or also for building muscles depending on how the rest of your diet plan looks like. Also this is a great alternative for vegetarians or vegans when you want t build muscles without eating meat or products made out of milk.

Recipe

1. Cut the tofu in small cubes.

2. Mix aceto di balsamico, salt, pepper, mustard and garlic in a bowl.

3. Marinade the tofu with it and let it soak for 30 minutes.

4. Wash the field salad.

5. Cut any vegetables that you like. I found a cucumber and bell pepper in my fridge and put it to the field salad.
6. Roast the tofu with a bit oil in a pan.
7. Add the rest of the marinade to the salad and make, if necessary, a bit more marinade/dressing.

8. And serve the salad with the roasted tofu on top of it.

This was my dinner. It's pretty simple, but really delicious and can be cooked incredibly fast. I hope you liked this recipe and tell me when you have tried it and if you want to have more recipe posts. Even though this is the most unhealthiest recipe ever, I dream of some great belgian waffles. What do you think?
I wish you a wonderful day!

How To Have Homemade Sorbets Within 30 Seconds!

Hello everyone!
Today I made a wonderful tasty black pepper beery sorbet consisting of raspberries, currant and black pepper topped with a squeeze of a lemon. This literally took me less than 30 minutes to do, tasted absolutely amazing and is a fast and healthy alternative to your ice cream or any other sweets.

Serving: 3 ice cream scoops (1 portion)

Ingredients:

  • 100 g fruits (in this case berries)
  • 100 ml of cold water
  • 2-4 tsp. of stevia, sweetener or sugar
  • squeeze of lemon*
  • black pepper*
* optional

Guide
Put everything into a higher plastic bowl and blend everything with an immersion blender.
This is just a basic recipe. Of course, you can add any fruit or extra flavour to this sorbet. Because we make this sorbet that fast and it hasn't any change to freeze, the sorbet starts to melt quiet fast, so you have to eat it a bit faster. Enjoy your dessert without any guilt!

I hope you enjoyed this post & tell me whether you like sorbets?

Wish you a wonderful day! Lots of love,

Apple Cranberry Crisp Recipe!

Hello everybody!
Apple Cranberry Crisp or Crumble had been praised for being so delicious but I never had the time and idea to do that for my own and to be honest, I have never eaten something like this before. Then I recently saw a video by MissChievous and because I had a lot of old apples and I thought this is perfect for the colder christmas time, I made this crumble today. Without a joke, it was the best dessert I have eaten for a really long time. Sour, moist, fruity and spicy, sweet at the same time!

Recipe

Fruit:
4-5 peeled, cored and sliced apples
1 package fresh Cranberries (about 340g or 12oz)
1/2 cup white sugar (100g)
Juice of half a lemon to prevent oxidizing
Cinnamon
Ground cloves
Ground nutmeg

Mix everything together in a deep casserole dish. Make sure to use a lot of fruit, your dish should be filled to the top before you spread the crumble on top.

Crumble:
1/2 cup quick oats (65g)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour (65g)
3/4 cup brown sugar (160g)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (113g)
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Tblsp. pure vanilla extract

Mix all the dry ingredients together, then drop in chunks of butter and the vanilla. Mix together until it's nice and crumbly. If it's too soft, add a bit more flour and oats.

Crumble the mixture on top of the fruits, then bake at 375 F / 190 C for 55 mins. The crumble mixture should be slightly browned. Serve hot with ice cream or whipping cream.

My whole family loved this dessert and really enjoyed eating it even though they are normally really picky with my cooking. Thus, I can highly recommend trying this out!
I think, this is also a great dessert for christmas and I even think about making this for one of the evening with my family.

Comment below whether you have ever eaten apple crumble or am I the only weirdo?

Wish you a wonderful day! Love,

DM + Christmas Decoration Haul

Hello guys!
Okay, I have to admit: I slowly really start to get into christmas mood which is actually weird because last year I wasn't into christmas mood at all and just felt a bit christmasy two days before Christmas Eve. Thus, even though it's a bit early to be in christmas mood, I prefer it to having it only two day before christmas. Anticipation is the greatest joy! So in order to make my room appear a bit more christmasy I bought just a few christmas items for my room (my room isn't that big) and had to walk into the drugstore ;)

Drugstore / DM:

Firstly, I purchased to candies for my handbag. The left one are the DM "Das gesunde Plus" candies with sea buckthorn flavour which taste really nice and sour. I also bought the new Ricola candies with liquorice flavour and sweetened with stevia which have got an interesting taste of liquorice, herbs and a bit salty.

Then I bought the Essence Winter Limited Edition 24h hand protection balm in Apple Cinnamon Punch and Gingerbread Chai Latte each for 0,95€. I think these particular flavours are not available internationally, however, Essence offers these Winter Edition hand creams but just with other flavours. I will do a detailed review of these products, but I am seriously in love with the smell of both of them. I can highly recommend buying them whereas I didn't liked the smell of Caramel Hot Chocolate that much.

These products are only available in Germany, so I will go on in German:

As every other human being on this world I also bought a toothpaste - the Colgate MaxWhite. It claims to make your teeth a bit whiter and whiter teeth are always better.

Christmas Decoration:

In order to boost my christmas mood I walked into Butler's and found a few really nice items. As I am a total tea-addictive I was caught by this beautiful, christmasy, snowy, white and red cup that will be well-used and will remind me of christmas every day. It costs 3,99€.

The highlight of my decoration haul is this BEAUTIFUL golden and glittery deer. I love it so much! It is sweet, sparkly but in the same time kind of a "natural object". It is no on my vanity table so I see it every day and it makes me so happy just looking at it. The price of this is 9,99€.

Technically I have enough candles, but all my candles are from Ikea so they have a noticeable scent but that intense which is great when you have the open in your room for the whole time. Higher priced candles e.g. Yankee Candles or even this middle-priced candle have a lid on top which is great, because then you don't have to smell the intense flavour all the time. And personally, I get a headache quite fastly. Therefore, I bought this scented candle with a rich cinnamon scent for approx. 3,50€. Butler's also has some great room scents!

So this was my drugstore and christmas decoration haul. I know that it's not the hugest haul you've ever seen but I just wanted to make myself a few little presents in order to get in a better mood which is harder to get caused by this grey, cold weather. Are you already in christmas mood?

Wish you a wonderful day! Love,

Plaid Wool Skirt - Fall / Winter Outfit of the Day

Hey guys!
It is even November which means that the fall is literally rushing and I just realised that I haven't worn my favourite fall clothing items yet which are my fall skirts and shorts. So today's outfit is all about my beloved plait wool skirt which is casual but dressed up in the same time. It's hard to see on the photo, but the skirt has a bow on the waistline and also some really cool pockets. I combined a burgundy sweater with the dark blue skirt because the plaits of the skirt have some dark red colour details. I also decided to pair my non-transparent grey tights with my grey suede booties so that I stay in one colour range on the bottom.

The outfit

Sweater: Montego. Skirt: Esprit. Tights: from the grocery store. Boots: Gabor.

Make-up, Nail polish & Jewelry:

Nail polish: Nivea Carrot Brown *discontinued*. Bow Earings: Tallulah Tu.
Make-up: inner corner - light pink. eyelid - shimmery pink. crease - light matte grey. -eyeliner - smudged grey eyeliner pencil

This was my outfit for today. It is really frustrating that it start getting so cold so that you slowly get more limited in your clothing choice. However, I hope you liked this post and comment below whether you also love wearing skirt with boots during the fall time.

Wish you a wonderful day! Lots of love,

OOTD: The Last Cold Days

  Dress/Zara - Blazer/Esprit - Shirt/New Yorker - Black Tights - Necklace/Accessorize

Today was hopefully the last day where I had to wear warm clothes, because for the weekend we are expecting beautiful sunny 25°C!
Thus, I want to share with you my last winter/spring outfit before I officially transform my whole wardrobe into spring and summer!

I am actually not a huge fan of black clothes, however, I think that black suits to this dress so well.
Actually, this dress is a mini summer dress which I transformed into a warmer outfit with some thick black tights and a shirt plus blazer on top. I do not see the sense in buying a dress that can be just worn during the summer time. That would mean, at least for me, a waste of money.
Also, I think that the bright red colour of the dress brightens up the grey weather outside and brings me in a more positive mood.

I wrapped up the sleeves of my blazer so that this outfit doesn't look too conservative. Therefore, it appears a bit more casual and can absolutely be worn in school.
In order to balance the bright colour from my upper part of my body, I added a colorful pearl necklace to this look, which also has got red pearls. This colorful necklace makes this look again a bit more casual and playful.

Hope you liked the look and
what do you wear when the weather is absolutely terrible?
